Chapter 2

**Taylor's POV**
While Kenzie is probably out having fun, I'm here at school with stupid ass people I don't even like. I texted her two times this morning and she didn't reply. So I texted my mom.

"Can I leave school early? Pleaseeeeee"

"Fine. Text me when you get home"

"Oh I'm not gonna go home, im probably gonna go hang out with Kenz for a while."

"Okay that's fine. Just let me know your safe."

She's been paranoid ever since me, her, and my brother got in that wreck.. I guess I could understand why.. I mean hell, I did almost fly out of the window.
I texted Kenzie and said "Left school early. Wanna hang out?" I locked my phone and put it back in my pocket.
About 5 minutes later she texted back.

"At the mall. Come join me (:"

"Okay be there in a sec!"

I had to turn around cause I already passed the mall, because I thought I was going to her house. I got there parked my car, and walked in.
"Is that Taylor Caniff!?" Someone yelled. Next thing I know, 10 girls are surrounding me. They asked to take pictures and for autographs, and I didn't wanna hurt their feelings and turn them down. So I took pictures with all of them, and gave them hugs, and then they left.

I checked my phone to see if Kenzie texted me. I had three texts from her.

"Where are you?"
"Taylor?"
"Okay well I'm about to leave, I'm tired of waiting."

Shit. I ran to her favorite store, Forever 21, and saw her checking out. I just knew she was gonna be here. "KENZIE!" I yelled. She turned around and saw me. Her eyes lit up and she smiled. She gave the cashier her money, and then walked over to me.
"Why are you so out of breath?" She said as she giggled. "I ran all the way here from the food court, cause I didn't want you to leave yet, and i knew you were gonna be here." I said and laughed. She giggled, and I grabbed her bags from her. She had like 7 from different stores and she looked like she was having trouble with them. We walked around for a little bit longer and I said "can we pleaseeee go to The Boys Foot Locker pleaseeee!" She sighed and said "sure." So we walked to The Boys Foot Locker which was way across the mall. We got there, and I was literally in heaven.

**Kenzie's POV**
When we got to The Boys Foot Locker, Taylor's eyes lit up like he just saw a hot Victoria's Secret model in there. It was kind of cute, except for the fact that he's worse than girls when it comes to shoe shopping, but honestly, that was kind of cute too. We were in there for literally three hours. He ended up getting 3 pairs of really nice shoes. He got a pair of white and black Jordan's with a reflective Jordan sign. He got a pair of plain red J's but honestly they were really nice. Then he got a pair of black and white Nike Roshes with a reflective Nike symbol. It was honestly so cute how happy he was.
"Satisfied now?" I said as I laughed. "Oh my gosh, yes definitely." He said as he smiled.

This day honestly got better since Taylor came..
