And it was finally that day.

The day on which Rajeev and Radhika would be married. It had been such a long ordeal. Ordeal of love, or respect, of trust, of patience. But everything that had transpired - the tough, the difficult, the unpleasant - nothing mattered now. All that mattered was the fact that they had ended up together. Just like how it was meant to be, always.

Radhika and Rajeev, both of them wanted a court marriage. The thought process was that when they would tie the knot, they only wanted their near and dear ones to be present. Of course, this entire proposition was frowned upon by Anupam and Meeta, but after a lot of convincing, and cajoling, and the promise of a grand reception, they finally relented.

Radhika was shocked for the thousandth time when that had happened. Her parents were truly making efforts - lots of them and she sincerely appreciated and respected every bit of that. After all, it wasn't at all easy to convince or sometimes, even coerce your mind out of those notions which you have been following for years. To challenge your own thought process and think about things in an altogether different manner. And they were doing that - for her.

Aditya's adoption process was yet to be completed - at least, that's what Radhika knew. And while Radhika wanted him to be present for their intimate marriage ceremony, she understood that the legalities involved took time. But unknown to her and Rajeev, Meeta and Gaurav had a surprise for them. This time, they had taken Neeti and Kartik's help.

Everyone was dressed up - as much as would be appropriate for a court marriage, and were stood near the courthouse.

The moment Radhika stepped out of the car, dressed in a gorgeous pink and bluish-green saree, looking as impeccable and breath-taking as ever, Rajeev's breath hitched in his throat.

Could his woman get anymore perfect?

His mouth hung open as he saw her taking slow strides towards where he was stood with Meeta and Gaurav. With every step she took, her cheeks developed a shade deeper - all thanks to his open gawking, and that too in front of their parents.

But well, could you blame the poor guy - he was simply spellbound by the beauty in front of him. His beauty.

"Oye kaddu. Close your mouth. Makkhi chali jaaegi.", Gaurav nudged his son with the clear and sole intention to tease him.

(Makkhi chali jaaegi - a fly will get in)

He simply received a hmm in response. His son was far too gone in admiring his soon to be wife.

"Kaddu.", Gaurav nudged him yet again, this time getting an annoyed look as a response.
