"But I always spend summer with Alice!" Alex said. Going to camp was the last thing he wanted to do. Alice was quiet which was terrifying. Alice was never quiet the word wasn't even in the girls vocabulary!
"That's the problem. You need to spend camp with boys for a change. You don't have any male friends. This will good for you." His dad explained. That was all mostly true. Expect Alex had one male friend. But he was not the ideal person in his parent's eyes. He was a very girly boy. He liked joking along with girls he would watch all the "girl" movies. He hung out with girls. The only boy her hung out with was Alex. Alex never told his parents about Jim because he didn't want them to think badly about him. They've been friends since kindergarten.
"How long is camp?" Alex asked. Knowing he had no real say in what was going to happen.
"It's only a moth. So you'll still have half of summer with Alice." His mom said with a smile. Alice then decided to pipe up.
"What will I do? All my friends are going on vaca and Alex is going to camp. I'll be deserted!" She said said dramatically flopping her head on the table. Alex smiled.
"I'll write. But you have to too." He said. Alice's head snapped up.
"Well dear brother of course I'll write to you." she said in her usual manner. Alex was going to miss his sister's dramatic manner.
"Alice we have a theater camp planned out for you. Now stop being dramatic. You might break something." Their dad said. Clearly annoyed.
"I'm not going to break anything." She said. All signs of drama gone.
"It's time for bed you to. Go on." He said in a dismissive way. The twins got up at the same time. Turned to each other with a smirk.
"Physical jinx!" They both shouted at the same time.
"Original jinx!!" Alice declared. And Alex was sent to the silent jail until Alice said his name.
"Anyway, let's go up to bed, Alexa." She said teasingly.
"Don't call your brother by girl names." Their dad said.
"Dad she was just joking around. It's not that big of a deal." Jim Alex's friend loved being called Jill. He doesn't see why it was such a big deal.
