Chapter 1- The house

I open my eyes to the sound of loud aggressive chewing, I look to the side to see my brother,smacking his lips, practically shouting directions to my almost deaf dad. We were on our way to a small summer house near about Boston. My brothers boyfriend lives there his family invited us over. Apparently our family's were close 'Back in the day'. Looking out the window I look at the houses we pass, they were nothing like the ones at home they were much bigger, Like two times the size! I stare blankly at the houses when I feel the car move around a corner my brother speaks up. "It should be just here" he says as he points towards the window. The car comes to halt. As my family and i get out the car I take my earbuds out and look up to see the house I will be staying at for a month. I felt my stomach turn a bit as I look at the big building before me.

Walking up the steps to this grand house I can feel my heart increase in tempo.
"What if this is the wrong house?" I ask my parents. i was kind of hoping it was the wrong one to be honest. I don't think I'm ready to stay in a strangers home for a month. I watch my mum press the door bell..she had a box of chocolates in her right hand, she always tells me that you can't go to a persons home with out a 'thank-you gift'. I hear the noise of the door opening ,a woman's voice greets us ,A sweet lady with square shaped glasses and slightly curled hair. "Ah you're here!" She smiled and reached for a hug from my mum in which she does the same, she hugs my dad too then looking at my brother she smiles "I'm guessing you are Ethan? Nick won't stop taking about you it's crazy!" she laughed and so did he,they hug too .Guessing this is the right house. I smile at the lady as she looked at me. "And you must be Teagan?" I nodded in reply.
"well I hope you all have a nice stay! Come in, come in!" She Encouraged.

Walking into the house I see two boys rushing down the stairs. They look similar. Not similar,identical! I smile as people greet each other ,hand shakes and hugs, looking to the side i glance over at another boy he was a bit different to the other two he seemed a bit more quiet. Trying to figure out what he was like I stare for a bit longer than planned and he notices. Looking straight back at me. I quickly turn my head and look towards the wall. 'Shit' I thought to myself as my heart flutters. I felt a presence beside me..it was another one of the brothers he smiled at me as I looked up at him..trying to keep eye contact. though it was hard.
"Hi! I'm Chris" he declared as he put his hand out for me to shake..I took his hand and smiled
"Teagan.." I replied in a slightly quieter tone. Out of the corner of my I eye I could see Ethan and ,who I assume to be, his boyfriend hugging and grinning at each other ,making me smile.
"Have you met Nick yet?" He asked me, I looked at him and shook my head
"Is that him?" I say as I look towards the quiet guy from earlier who was now talking to my dad
"Oh no- that's Matt! He's a bit shy . If you can't tell." he said with a chuckle "he can be a bit grumpy too- but it's fine you will get used to it!" I look over at Matt to see him already looking at me I gave him a smile and he looked away in a hurry. Just then Their mum spoke up . telling Matt and Chris to go get the bags out of the car.
"Teagan why don't you go help them sweetie?" My mum whispered in my ear I nodded and headed for the door. Maybe this would be my chance to figure out what's up with this Matt guy..
