"It was a normal chilly day out where I lived." Sometimes you could even go out without a jacket or something to cover your arms just in case you get chilly. And other days were as warm as Grammy's chocolate cake fresh out of the oven.  Yaya decided she would go for a walk around the neighborhood to get a taste of what she was walking into. She just moved here by herself, aside from her miniature kitten that accompanied her.  He was a really good companion,he is a cuddler, super affectionate and a good listener.

As she continues her stroll ,she runs into an older couple, who seem to be struggling with crossing the street. She stepped in the middle of the two of them asking if they wanted assistance which they graciously took. The traffic was so smooth and the drivers were pretty decent at allowing pedestrians to get to their destination safely. Otherwise it'd be chaos. After Yaya's good deed , she decided to treat herself to brunch. She headed to the local diner up the street from where she just stopped to assist the older couple, and heads inside. By the smells from the outside, she was convinced she found one of the best spots in that area. As she opened the door, there were two greeter gods, one on each side of the door.  "Good Afternoon, welcome to our establishment, enjoy good food and good company" one of them cheerfully sang as Yaya walked up to the barista center.  By his smile, she knew it was okay to approach the counter and make her order.  "And how can I be of service for you today, ma'am?." He asked politely, still smiling. She looks to the menu above his head scanning over what she thought looked most appetizing in her opinion. After her minute and a half search, she confurs with the guy at the counter, who's name so happened to be Milo, "such a basic but interesting name" , she thought to herself but he's really hot, so she didn't mind.  She grins at him, as she responded with her order and he repeated it back to her. He looked at the small computer in front of him. "So that's 3 breakfast bagels with everything, hash browns, a caramel apple frappe, cinnamon rolls and a medium cup of hot chocolate. Is there anything else I can get for you today, sweetheart?. "No, that'll be all, thank you." She says as they made eye contact with one another. Okay, your total is $16.50. She takes out her card, swiping it swiftly and placing it back in it's holder. He handed her a receipt and then she goes to the table across the room and awaits for her order to be called.

Twenty minutes later and her order was finally ready. "Order Number 3" the young man who took my order called over the loud speaker. I got up and went to retrieve my food and sat back at the booth I was at. He smiled at me and came to hand me condiments and another set of napkins which I didn't mind but he was on the clock. I smiled and thanked him again for the second time, he just smiled as he walks away. She smiles to herself as she sips on one of the drinks she ordered. She was intrigued with it's taste and texture as she takes more gulps and then another bite of her food. She becomes full. Packing up the remaining food for later , she thanked Milo for his pure and joyous service. "You're welcome, come back, I'll be here."  He winks at her and she left out. She was proud of herself because this was the first time since she went outside and mingled since she was young. She was fully committed to hanging out there especially if the hot hunky guy would be there. To bad , she didn't remember what his name was. It's okay, she'd ask or just reread his name tag when they met again. She got home, her fur baby was at the door scratching awaiting her arrival. She carefully opened the door being sure not to let him out. "Hiii sweet boy, I missed you too much." She picked him up,him immediately cuddling into her arms, laying his head on her arm as she walks into the kitchen and putting the rest of the food away. She placed the drinks in the fridge and the food into the microwave oven. Setting her cat down, she picks up his bowls and refilled his water and gave him some more food. "Are you hungry, bub?" He meows loudly in response as he sits and watches her prepare his meal.  "I take that as a yes", she giggles turning to open the container and poor it into the bowl. She goes to the fridge and grabbed his meds so he can take them as well. He walks towards her, rounding her legs as she puts his bowls back in their corrective place. "Okay, baby's fed, I've eaten and now I'm going to relax." She goes into the living room and sits at the computer and began typing. She spent all of 40 minutes at the computer as she was searching for a new job. She was looking for something that would help with bills and her baby's medical expenses. They weren't that expensive but for her, $50 a month wasn't really affordable especially when she doesn't have a job. Borrowing money was not her cup of tea. She was trying to get her own. Lucky for her, job searching was an easy task. She typed in local hiring spots that were near. So many popped up, but only two caught her eyes and spiked her interest. The first was for the diner down the street from where she stayed. She was excited because 1. She could see the hottie who works there and wouldn't have to make excuses to keep going there. 2. She can wear a skimpy outfit for him to ogle at her and then maybe he'd take her in back and bend her over the break room table.  So she definitely was going to fill out an application for the diner.  The second one, well, was a little more of a entertainment center for those looking for a 'good times.' She wasn't sure if she actually was interested in the second option but from the past visits she'd had, it seems like a perfect dream. So she filled out both applications and a third one just to be prepared in case the first two said she doesn't qualify.
