Chapter 09: HEART PATIENT!

Adil-

*12:15 pm*

Time passed as we didn't even notice while talking and joking around. Hannah,Zayan and Daniyal are really friendly and funny sometimes. I just met Hannah last night but it feels like I've known her for years. Her smile,her way of speaking and taunting her brothers in each statement is really driving me crazy. Only if Anvi was here so that the gossip would be more interesting.

"Anvi ko call kar na." Zyva poked my shoulder as i nodded and grabbed my phone when the door opened by Anvi.(Call Anvi.) "Shaitan ka nam liya or shaitan hajir." I said as others laughed but Anvi just rolled her eyes.
(Took the devil's name and here she is.)

"Female devil." Daniyal said with a smirk and looked at Anvi while she just glared at him and went upstairs. "Ise kya hua?" Zyva asked while looking at Anvi who went upstairs.(What's wrong with her?)"Maybe work stress." Zayan said as Hannah nodded thoughtfully.

We were talking when Anvi got down with her dress changed in an oversized t-shirt and bun. We smiled at her as she sat next to Zyva. "I will get you tea." Zyva was about to get up when she stopped and asked,"There is still so much left. Do you guys want one more cup?" She smiled as we all nodded.

"I wonder how you treat your guests. I mean your best friend did everything." Daniyal said to Anvi as she looked at him and said,"wait..."
She stood up and went to the kitchen to take a bottle of Dish washer.

"This is for special guests like you." She said as We laughed and Daniyal shook his head,"You called me special?" "Yes, Special person. A dog in a human's body." Daniyal's eyes widened from the insult as Hannah laughed hard. She accidentally placed her hand on my forearms while laughing.Electic shock.I froze and stopped laughing.My poor heart. She noticed maybe as pulled her hands away and looked away. I looked at her from side eyes and saw her cheeks turning pink. Is she blushing?

"Can't you two behave nicely for once?" Zayan asked Anvi and Daniyal as they yelled in unison,"NEVER!" At the same time,Zyva came back with a tray of six tea cups and put that down on the tea table. Everyone took their cups as i was about to grab one when Hannah also went to grab the same one.I pulled away hand and looked away to hide my flustered face. She took the cup and lowered her head while drinking the tea.

We were talking randomly when Zyva asked Zayan,"How's the pain now?" Pause... Everyone turned their head to her as she looked dumbfounded and Zayan gulped hard."It's fine now." Zayan answered as Daniyal asked,"What are you guys talking about?" Zayan and Zyva looked at each other then Zayan said,"Uh,I was having some pain in my chest so she prescribed me some treatments." "In Australia actually." Zyva added the last part as Daniyal and Anvi rose one eyebrow in sync.

"Did you get anything?" Hannah whispered in my ear as i felt that electric shock again."No, I'm as clueless as you." I whispered back.She pouted and nodded.Agh,Not that pout! Mummy!

"In Australia? That means...you guys already met each other once?" Anvi asked as Zayan said,"More than once actually."

Zyva-

Maro mujhe koi! Maro! Kyu bola mene.Now we have to explain everything. I looked at Zayan as he sighed and nodded his head.
(Someone kill me!Kill me! Why did i have to say?)

Flashbacks:

I was walking through the hallway after the final project submission .One more week then my 4 years of hardship will be a meaningful future.

Having a warm smile on my lips i greeted the professors and kept walking until i reached my locker. I opened it and took out the book 'Twisted love'. I had done the half but i have to finish it fully tonight.
I closed my locker and turned as i got a heart attack. "Ohhh- What the heck?" I looked at Zayan as he was standing there in a black business suit. "Sorry to scare you." He said with a smile. "You really like to say sorry for everything." I said as he chuckled."Sorry but i can't help it." He said as i smiled."You just said it again." I said as he made an '(⁰∀⁰) face'. I couldn't hold back my laughter as i laughed while covering my mouth with my hand. I stopped as i saw him staring at me with a smile. I looked away and put a normal face again. "So, How's the pain?" I asked as he said,"It was gone when i met you- Uh,Sorry...I mean when i took the medicine." He looked away as i saw his ears turning red.

"Glad to hear that." I smiled and nodded. He pulled away a bouquet of white tulips and handed it to me."As a returning gift."
I looked at it for a while as he was biting his lower lip. I took the bouquet and thanked him."Advance congratulations for graduating, Doctor." He said as i asked,"How did you kn-" " I know everything." He said with a wide smile as i was still shocked but nodded with a smile. "Thank you again."

"Sir,Time for the meeting." A man in a formal suit came behind Zayan and spoke. "Just a minute.Leave." Zayan spoke in a sudden deep voice as the man left. "I guess it's the last meet." i said as he asked,"How do you kn-" "I remember everything." We both laughed.

Flashbacks end.

"Oh,so,you were having chest pain?" Daniyal looked at Zayan with a smirk as Zayan glared at him and said,"Yes." I can see him gritting his teeth.
"You didn't tell me,Zi. I'm sad." Anvi pouted as I asked,"How am i supposed to know that...Um,Mr Khan is your neighbor?"

"You're respecting him too much,Miss Zyva." Daniyal said as Zayan kicked his leg. "Why the hell is everyone kicking me today?" He yelled while rubbing his leg as Anvi and Zayan smirked.

"What happened to your throat,Anvi?" Adil suddenly asked Anvi as i looked at her throat. It was red and slightly purple around the side of the neck. It looked like someone gripped her throat. "N-nothing.from the pendant maybe." She shuttered and fixed her pendant. "But-" She cut off Hannah and said,"I heard the era's tour film will be released tomorrow in our nearest theater. Let's go there."

Adil looked at me for once as i looked at Anvi who made 'a please' face. So,Me and Adil dropped the topic. "Sounds perfect." I said with a smile as Adil nodded with a straight face still looking tense. "So, It's final?" Anvi looked at Zayan, Daniyal and Hannah as they nodded. "I can't.I have some important work to handle",Adil said as Anvi,Hannah and my mood dropped. "C'mon,Man. It's been years since we went to watch a film together",Anvi said as Hannah pouted while looking down. Why is she so sad?

"I can't",Adil declared as Anvi punched his arms but he didn't even feel anything."My hand~",Anvi yelled in pain as Daniyal laughed."Tera hat hein ki chattan?"(Is that your arm or stone?) Anvi asked Adil as he said,"Khudi dekhle."(see it by yourself.)

*Night,8 pm*

Hannah,Zayan and Daniyal left hours ago. Now the three of us are sitting on Anvi's bed as I am hugging a pillow and Adil is sitting next to Anvi. Anvi is looking down at her lap as she is sitting folding her legs with a terrified look.

"You should have called me,Anvi",Adil said while frustratingly rubbing his jaw."What would you do? Go there and beat him, Right? I did the same." Anvi said as i spoke now,"Still. He raised his hand on you. We should do something."
"Give me that location. I'll cut his ha-" I didn't let Adil complete."If he does something again,we will see it.Now leave this."

They nodded and the room fell into a deep silence. "I'm going to sleep ,guys." i said as I got up. "Me too." "Good night,guys." "Good night."Me and Adil spoke in unison as we went to our rooms.
