——————— NARRATORS POV! // "IM COMING MOM" lily shouted from upstairs, the girl walked downstairs and took a plate and started to walk away
"excuse me turn back around, we're all eating dinner together!" The girls mom said, in an annoyed tone.
"whyy mom I just wanna eat upstairs" lily said dragging the y while sitting down at the dinner table with her family, as she sat down her brother Ethan made faces at her. "Your not even funny Ethan" she rolled her eyes.
"So any plans for today kiddos?" The teens dad asks while picking up his fork to eat. "Yeah I'm gonna hang with Jaden" Ethan spoke. "Nope" lily said popping the P. "Where are you and jaden going?" The mother asked "His house" the boy replied "Tell Jessica I say hi!" "Will do mom" he said.
—— The Walton family and Kennedy family were friends, though the only people who spoke to eachother ,other than the parents were Jaden and Ethan. Sometimes Lily would speak to them too of course, but they wouldn't hang out.
The family had finished eating dinner and Lily was in her room, she got a text from Jayla, which was a bit unusual as she didn't speak to her a lot, but she answered anyway. (Lily in bold)

I walked towards the car and jayla motioned for me to get in the back , with jaden and ethan since her and javon where in the front seats. "Hiii" I said to them all as I sat down beside jaden in the back of the car beside the window and started to put my seatbelt on. "Hey girl it's been a minute how are uu" jayla said as she started up the car, javon and jaden said hi too. "I'm good jayla thank you, how are you?" I asked her, "I'm good" she said with a smile, the rest of the car ride was pretty silent other than the music. "Drive thru or eat inside?" Jayla said as she turned into McDonald's. "inside" Javon said , so jayla parked the car and we all got out and walked inside.
"I'm so fucking hungryyyy" Ethan said , "are u ever not hungry?" I giggled, everyone else laughed too "shut up" Ethan nudged me.
We all sat down with our food after we ordered, "Shits bouta be bussin" javon said. "word bro" jaden responded while eating his chicken nuggets. "Sooo Lily how's Alex." Jayla asked, Alex, Alex , Alex, fucking Alex , my ex. "Oh we ended things like 2 weeks ago" "oh sorry" jayla said "no it's fine! He was an ass." I laughed. "Word. I hated him" Ethan said angrily. "LETS TAKE A 0.5" jayla said loudly while laughing. We all posed and Javon put his arm around me and jayla, since we were both sitting beside him. The photo turned out pretty cute, ngl. We all finished our food and started walking out of the McDonald's. "We should all hang out more" Jayla said, we all agreed with her since today was fun, we just talked and laughed for what felt like hours but was only 35 minutes. We all sat in the car, and my favourite song started playing, "Tumblr girls." MY FAVOURITE SONG, yeah it's basic, and what? "I love this song!" Jayla said while turning up the volume. "Me too omg!" I said, "yeah it's her fav, it's never not playing" my brother said. The rest of the ride was silent, except for me and jayla humming along to tumblr girls. "Yo Lily n Ethan yall should stay tonight" jaden said "YEAHH" jayla and javon agreed. "Sure we'll ask our mom, I'll text her" ethan said. "ok yayayaya" jayla said, I giggled at her excitement. "YOO SHE SAID YES" ethan said excitedly.
——— Jayla dropped me and Ethan off to our house so we could go in and get our stuff, she parked outside to wait for us. // JAVONS POV: Lily and Ethan got out of the car, "I love Lily she's so cute, we should speak to her more" jayla said in awe of the girl . "For real" I said "OO wanna thinks Lilys cute?" Jaden said making fun of me. "dude I didn't mean it like that, I was just agreeing that we should talk to her more" I said defensively, I mean Lily wasn't ugly or anything, she was cute but I'd never admit that, and I don't have feeling for her, obviously. Ethan and Lily got back into the car and we started driving back to our house while listening to the song "congratulations" by Mac Miller.
