Oh baby! // Lando Norris

First race of the season:

Hayley's POV:

We are in Bahrain for the first race of the season. It feels very weird that Lando is not driving and it's also the first race that I'm publicly pregnant. I straighten my hair and put on a tight orange dress and put a white McLaren t-shirt, cropping it by putting a knot above the bump. I put on my white Nike's and head out of the bathroom.

Lando - Wow. 

Hayley - I feel like I popped overnight. I don't look huge right?

Lando - No, you look 6 months pregnant and amazing. 

Hayley - Thank you.

We meet up with our families in the lobby and go to the track. We walk to the McLaren hospitality and meet Oscar and Daniel. 

Daniel - Look at you! You're glowing!

Hayley - Thank you. Loving the Aussie line up this year.

Oscar - Pretty iconic. 

Daniel - I have someone I'd like you to meet.

A beautiful blonde girl walks towards us.

Daniel - This is Heidi, my girlfriend. Heidi, these are Lando, Hayley and baby Daniel.

Lando - It's a girl, we're not naming her Daniel.

Daniel - It's a girl! 

Lando - Be quiet we haven't announced it yet. 

Hayley - Nice to meet you Heidi. 

The boys head down to the garage and the rest of us take our seats in the VIP section. After a few laps Mila starts crying. 

Hayley - You want to come to auntie?

Savannah -  You sure?

Hayley - Yeah.

I take her from Savannah and take her to a more quiet area. I rock her back and forth until she falls back asleep. A few minutes later, Lando comes up from the garage.

Lando - Hey, is she okay?

Hayley - Yes she just got a bit cranky and I'm just trying to get some practice. 

He plants soft kisses on both of our heads before we go back to our seats and Lando goes back downstairs. The race ends with Max in P1, Charles in P2 and Lewis in P3. We all go back to the garage and I grab my camera as we head to the podium. I manage to snap some shots of Max and Charles celebrating with Kelly and Charlotte. After all of the celebrations finish, Savannah, Mila, Cisca, Flo, Lando's parents, my parents and I head back to the hotel. Oliver and Lando stayed at the track to join the drivers for the after party. I change into a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and go into Sav's room for a girls night with Cisca, Flo, Lando's mum and my mum. We put on White Chicks and get some room service. 

A few hours later:

The movie finishes and I go back into my hotel room. After about 20 minutes, Lando arrives.

Lando - Hello babies.

Hayley - Hello.

He bodyslams the bed and turns towards me. 

Hayley - Did you have fun?

Lando - Yeeeessssssss.

Hayley - How much did you drink?

Lando - I don't know.

I get off the bed and attempt to pull him up.

Hayley - Come on. 

We walk into the bathroom and I help him get undressed. 

Hayley - It's like I already have a baby.

I grab a wash cloth and drown it in cold water before putting it on his face. 

Lando - No, stop, it's cold. 

Hayley - I'm preventing a hangover for you so suck it up babe.

I get him a bottle of water before we head back to bed. He presses his lips onto mine, resting one hand on my stomach and one on my cheek.  

Hayley - I love you baby.

Lando - I love you too. 

I switch off the lamp and drift off into a deep sleep.

A few weeks later:

We are now at home in England. Lando decided not to attend the Miami grand prix this week because I've had a rough week. I've been in and out of hospital because of dizziness and blood pressure. Today Savannah and the baby are coming over so we can finalize plans for her bridal shower and my baby shower. I start cleaning the kitchen whilst Lando is watching Free Practice 1. 

Lando - Do you need any help babe?

Hayley - It's okay, don't worry. 

Savannah and Mila arrive. Sav and I go out to the garden whilst Lando stays with his niece watching F1. After about two hours we manage to finalise all our plans. 

Savannah - We have 1 week until the baby shower, 2 until the bridal shower and a month until the wedding.

Hayley - And 6 weeks until I give birth. 

Savannah - I'm so excited. What an amazing two months we're gonna have. 

Hayley - I'm terrified Sav. 

Savannah - Of the birth?

Hayley - Yeah. Even braxton hicks are driving me crazy let alone the whole labour and delivery part. 

Savannah - You'll do an amazing job. Trust me, I went through it. It will all be worth it in the end. Look in the kitchen. Imagine that Mila is your child, look what a beautiful future you're going to have. 

I look into the kitchen and see Mila and Lando playing whilst he's feeding her. I smile as a single tear rolls down my face.
