She was here, standing in her house again. The memories swirled around her like a strong wind.
Walking through the corridor felt as thou walking through the graveyard. She just couldn't shake off the feeling that she almost ruined her once perfect life while trying to chase money. With a sudden rush of sadness, she reminisced all the pain she put her ex-husband and her only child through. Sarah Osborne could feel her heart racing as she stared at herself in the mirror, her hair stood on end, a shiver raced down her spine and a lump formed in her throat.
She finally set her tears free, the icy liquid flowed down her fair cheeks. All she could mutter was, "I hope they find a place in their heart to forgive me ".~●~
Long long ago, not too long though, Lanae , a beautiful young girl lived with her father. This was because her parents had separated and her mum remarried a very affluent and famous old man.
Lanae's birth father, Mr William, though he wasn't rich, always did did everything in his power to make sure his dear daughter lacked nothing. He loved her to the moon and back and seized every opportunity to display his love.
Occasionally Mr William would take Lanae to the shopping mall even if it meant they would only do window shopping (walk around without buying anything), at least they took pictures, chat with new people, made new friends and bought a few snacks they could afford.
Once in a blue moon they would go to a restaurant, the beach, a cinema or a children's park. Indeed they didn't have money but they had peace, good health and joy, at least that's what old Willy thought.
He thought everything was okay, but little did he know that the toughest part of a battle is when everything seems to be calm. If only he knew what awaits him.
