It had been afew days since the night of the club fiasco, Isabella had distanced herself from everyone, even Charles. She didn't know what to do, Charles was so kind to her but she really did still like Max. She felt like she could forgive him if she just gave him a chance to explain himself.

She questioned herself as her finger was hovering over the "Call" button on Max's contact. "What am I doing?" She thought to herself.

Click. Ring, ring ring.

He picked up almost immediately, it took her by surprise, it was like he was waiting for her to call him.

"Isabella?" His voice sounded uplifted, like he'd just won the lottery.

"You have two minutes to explain what you were doing kissing that girl, go." Isabella said, she picked at her nails aimlessly waiting for Max to start explaining everything.

"Isabella look, it was a mistake, I barely knew what was happening and I was oblivious, I pulled away when I realised what I was doing. Believe me, I feel terrible and I miss you. I really really miss you. About the club, I was just mad and I wanted to get back at you for leaving me. Then when I saw you with Charles, I lost it. I was so so mad that you were with him and how he was looking at you, and then I knew what you were going to do when you went back to his. It made me so mad, the thought of another man touching you, especially because I was your first. The way he was looking at you.. I wanted to punch him and tell him you were mine and that he should stay away from you, but it wasn't my position. I'm sorry, for everything and I don't deserve you at all, but please one more chance, I can prove it to you, I can make it right.. please, Bella, I am begging you. I can treat you right." Max said all of that slowly, like he was meaning every word and that he felt guilty for everything he'd done.

"Max.." Isabella started, her hand was shaking as she had no idea what to do now that she'd been put on the spot. She could hear Max's deep breaths, like he was praying that she'd give him another chance. "This is your last chance, I swear Max. You got lucky this time." Isabella said.

"Thank you, Bella. I will make everything up to you, in any way you want, I am going to do anything." Max said, his breaths began to calm once she had an answer for him.

"Can you come to mine, please. I need to see you in real life." Isabella asked, her voice sounded like she was kind of shy to ask him.

"Of course I can." Max said.

Knock knock. Max was here. Isabella basically ran to the door, she was quick to open it and look up at Max. A sigh of relief ran through her for some reason, it felt like all of her worried had gone.

"Max." She said softly, pulling him into a hug squeezing him tight. Max hugged her back, just how she liked, his hands around her waist and trailing up her back to play with her hair for a slight second.

"I've missed this." Max said into her head, kissing her crown and not pulling away from the hug.

"Believe me, I have too." She said as she looked at him as she broke away from the hug after about ten seconds, she wasn't counting.

He shut the door behind him and stepped into her house. Following her footsteps as to where she was leading them. "Tea?" Isabella asked, as she walked into her kitchen.

"No, I'm fine. I'll just have some water." Max said but his eyebrows furrowed as she saw him reach for a glass. He grabbed her waist and pulled her away from the counter.

"No, I will make it. Go out something on the TV to watch, yeah?" Max said, kissing her on the cheek and grabbing a glass and filling it with water and ice. He walked over to her living room and sat next to her on the sofa. "You know that message you sent to me? The one about me fucking that girl?" Max started.
