PROLOGUE

They say fairy tales, fantasies and magic do not exist, then what is love? Why did it feel like magic, out of this world, worth everything? Why was it so beautiful? Chaewon and Jihyun shared the most beautiful bond, they loved each other like there is no tomorrow, walking in the parks holding hands with their hearts raising like the first time they met.

"I love you" Chaewon looked deeply in the eyes of her love, her everything "No I love you."

Her heart flattered when she heard the words come out of his mouth, like the first time he confessed. "Okay let's make a deal, we love each other equally and everyone wins" Holding his hand while admiring her love's beautiful features.

Stopped to cup her beautiful face looking into her eyes "I don't win because I love you more."

Causing Chaewon's cheeks to erupt with a pink pigment. Everyone admired at the same time envied their love, they wished to find love greater than theirs.

"CHAEWON!"

Chaewon was startled by someone shouting her name which made her open her eyes.

Horror, in front of her as she saw a broken man, her love broken into pieces tear streaming across his cheeks "How could you!" Screaming at her confusing a breaking Chaewon.

He sounded broken, Chaewon, who was still processing the horror in front of her came another one. She was naked with another man by her side. Something immediately stuck on her throat, preventing her to breath further.

Before she could say further, Jihyun stormed out leaving her heart clenched, broken with no idea what was happening in front of her eyes. She quickly got off the bed to leave, looking for her clothes " Where are my damn clothes" Not caring about the naked man who was quietly looking at the scene in front of him.

Tears falling, her hands trembling, "Where are my fucking clothes" All the man could do was watch the scene before him as she desperately dressed herself and stormed out.

[𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦] A black Mercedes which was registered under Kang Ji Hyun has been found at the bottom of the cliff, as we await autopsy report, we are not sure whose corpse were found in the car, but all evidence shows that the body that was found in the car belonged to the owner of the car young man Kang Ji Hyun as he has not been found alive.

"This is all my fault, killed him." Chaewon said with tears streaming down her face.

She lost her love and all she felt was hatred for herself, and the guilt of having broken his heart, her love, her everything. She killed the man she loved.

"Don't say that, Chae. It was not your fault" Rubbing her back to comfort her. "He hated me and I don't blame him. I don't deserve to live" Chaewon broke into more tears.

"He loved you; he would never hate you" Chaewon remembered his last words to her that stung her already broken heart.

'He hated me, he died hating me." Burying her wet face in her friend's arms, she broke down into more tears.

Quickly waiting up with a cold sweat, Chaewon sat up from her bed with heavy breaths. Nightmares from almost 18 years ago never left her but he did and left a big hole in a broken heart.

Placing flowers on top of a tombstone, engraved [KANG JI HYUN] Chaewon sat down beside the love of her life, who died along with her heart and her ability to love again.

Letting out a sigh, she smiled at the grave beside her removing the leaves on top of it "I still can't believe you're here and not by my side." Sat down beside the grave

"It's been long since you left me, since my heart stopped beating because your heart is my heart as it Always beat for you " Tears forming in her eyes "And the guilt that keep on eating what is left of me for what happened, what I did to you. I say your heart and my heart are one, but I killed it, I killed you".

After a while, Chaewon got up to say her goodbyes to leave "What are you doing here?"

She turned around to see a young man and a woman, a familiar woman making her heart clench.

Wiping off her tears and before she could say anything "I said what are you doing here?"

Finally, the young man beside her spoke "Who is she mom?" Startling Chaewon she looked at the young man with a look of disbelief. "You look like you have seen a Ghost Kim Chaewon, looking at the boy you took his father away from" The woman chuckled causing Chaewon to shift her face to where her feet were standing. "Mom, what are you talking about?'

Chaewon felt tears on the verge of falling off with the amount of voice she had left "Excuse me" Walking away from the two figures "Don't ever come back here" Turning around to face her "Don't return to this place, you hear me?" Causing Chaewon to respond with a nod before walking away.

"A whore who destroyed your father's life".

Jungkook looked over at where the woman disappeared before returning his gaze to the grave in front of him brushing off the weird feeling he had in his chest.

Chaewon only wished for a happy life with the love of her life, Kang Ji Hyun. But life had other plans for her with her love being snatched from her arms and in return a positive pregnancy test from the man she never loved.

She got married and have birth to a beautiful young Girl Park Kyungmin.

Chaewon sat down with her family having breakfast like any other day.

Nothing hurt more than seeing my husband put ideas in my daughter's head that this was her world, and we are just living in it. Every one of her wishes, he made sure to fulfil them, it can be the latest phone, car if she didn't like her teachers, he made sure they were fired just to satisfy his daughter.

He made every one of her desires a reality even the men she desired.

And who was I to talk my opinion because whenever I spoke my mind, I was not a loving mother who wished to see her daughter happy.

"So, who is the boy dear?" My husband asked immediately causing blush to erupt from her cheeks.

I couldn't stand hearing their conversation any further as I excused myself to go to get my things from my previous workplace.

Oh, and tomorrow is my first day at my daughter's school, my husband thought it would be great to get me a job there as the new chemistry teacher after he got the old one fired because my daughter couldn't stand him. So, he made me quit my job at the pharmacy.
