Chapter 7

Chapter 7 (Kate's P.O.V)

-Time Skip-

We flew home on the jet, which I was still getting used to. He chuckled every time I flinched as turbulence occurred. After an hour or so, my eyelids felt like a hundred pounds had been dropped on them. I closed them slowly and drifted off to sleep.

(Reid's P.O.V)

I felt a slight thump on my shoulder. I looked down and saw Kate asleep, head resting on my right shoulder. I smiled and chuckled lightly, she hadn't done this since she was five. I heard other chuckles and saw Derek mocking me. I rolled my eyes. Though I was confused too, she had never been as clingy even as a little girl before she was stabbed. I predicted she wasn't feeling good and I was correct as she suddenly woke up and ran to the bathroom. After we got off the plane and got home she continued to get sick a few more times.

"Kate, you okay?" I said walking into the bathroom and rubbing her back.

"Yeah, stomach bug probably." She replied, her eyes showed that she didn't believe it. She hadn't mentioned feeling ill before she started puking. I let her go to bed, since I had a small apartment she slept on the couch but I insisted she sleep next to me as nightmares plagued her at night. After I went to sleep a few hours passed, Kate started literally screaming in her sleep. I shook her and called her name. Then she started seizure like activities in her sleep, I shook her harder and yelled her name.She then bolted awake crying her eyes out.

"Dad, we need to go to the doctors tomorrow." She said after she had finished crying. I was confused but agreed after seeing her go into a mini seizure.
