CHAPTER-40 (THE END)

"Sorry this is kinda long"
7-years later:-

The airport rushed with passengers, boarding and leaving simultaneously.

Y/n after 7 long years she had set her foot finally back in Korea.

She looked around the crowded masses, some hurried at the boarding stations, some waiting for their incoming flights while most enjoyed themselves at the expensive airport shops.

She had grown into an beautiful young woman. The most ravishing change in her was her nature. She had grown rather calm in those years while enjoying her life yet the scars her heart held for jungkook did not disappear, she had came back after being placed the top score in her university.

She stopped at her track and turned back to meet the tierd eyes of the young man, who had been after her like literally half his life. He came rushing behind her while dragging two suit cases.

Y/n:" Hurry up my boy" She said as she removed her shades. The boy who had soon caught up with the daringly beautiful woman, took heavy breaths while stopping near her.

Felix:"do you mind helping me milday?" He asked jokingly while still having not caught his breath.

Y/n:"uhmm... No thanks"she said soon with a small childish smile. Felix couldn't wish for anything else, having seen her smile like that boosted his energy that he could lift twenty more bags at this state.

They both pushed through the crowd and walked out the airport doors.
Ater having set their foot in the ground.
Y/n looked at the cars parked at the parking lot.

After having seen a familiar car, she lead Felix towards the significant car.

And from inside the car came a woman in her early 20s running to embrace y/n

Y/n was taken aback but soon wrapped her hands around the young girl to not disappoint her.

Y/n:"what a surprise?"
She said breaking the hug
"Never expected something as this from my devil sister"

She said as they both laughed it out.

Lee Sol:"I can't believe I missed you this much" She said as she gave a small hit on her shoulder.

Y/n upon realising the awkward Felix at the back. She immediately pulled Lee Sol towards him.
Y/n:"Felix this is Lee sol, my one and only adopted sister"

She said with a grin, receiving a blow as a response from her sister.

Felix:"Hi I'm Felix, nice meeting you" He said as he offered his hand for a handshake.
Lee sol:"I'm Sol nice meeting you too" She added and shook his waiting hands.

The trio got into the car.
Y/n sat near the window glancing at the glimmering city of seoul. It was so beautiful, so beautiful that it made her regret for leaving.
Her breath hitched as the car now passed by the hospital where her love was admitted.

She stretched her neck to still look at the now vanishing hospital building.
Her heart grew heavy, how much ever she was smiling outside her heart was aching inside.
The guilt of having her husband hospitalized never  allowed her to have a peaceful sleep.

Lee Sol saw the changing colours in y/ns face and shook her shoulder a little.
Y/n upon feeling the jerk, wiped her evident tears and turned towards Lee sol.

Upon swallowing with much pain she asked, asked her the question though she herself knew the answer.
Y/n:"How is Jungkook?"

Lee sol let out a sigh, she glanced out of the window and looked back at her phone screen... Not wanting to answer.
