A's Big Sister: What?
A: What was that?
A's Big Sister: Just an owl. Now go to sleep.
A: Sister, why are owls?
A's Big Sister: Why are owls what?
A: Owls! And why do they stay awake at night? Other birds don't. And why...
A's Big Sister: (jolts awake into her purple sleeping bag) I don't know, sis. Ask me again in the morning. Now, go to sleep.
A: Alright. (snuggles into her pink sleeping bag) Night, sister.
(A's Big Sister turns off the light. Everything was quiet until...)
A: (tosses and turns) Bother! Ow! Ooh! Bother!
A's Big Sister: What is it now?
A: There's a lump under my sleeping bag.
(A's Big Sister fixes the lump under her sister's sleeping bag by using a hammer.)
A's Big Sister: There. Now, go to sleep.
A: Thanks, sister. (sighs happily) That's better. Sister?
A's Big Sister: What is it now?
A: Can I've a drink of water?
A's Big Sister: Yes.
A: Hooray!
A's Big Sister: It'll make you go to sleep.
A: (sighs happily) That's better. Night, sister.
A's Big Sister: Goodnight, sis.
A: (does the potty dance) Sister?
A's Big Sister: (tuts)
(A's Big Sister has taken A to the toilet and they're back in the tent.)
A: It's a long way to the toilets, isn't it, sister?
A's Big Sister: Yes.
A: Still, that little walk might've made me sleepy.
A's Big Sister: Let's hope so.
(Everything was quiet again until...)
A: AHHH! (A's Big Sister wakes up surprised) AHHH! IT'S A BUG! A BEETLE! I'VE GOT A BEETLE IN MY SLEEPING BAG!
A's Big Sister: Look out. You're gonna... (But it was too late. The tent's fallen down.) Oh, bother...
A: (giggles) It wasn't a beetle after all. It was a jellybean. (giggles again) Silly me. (eats the jellybean)
A's Big Sister: (yawns) Come on, sis. Let's put the tent back up again. (They've put the tent back up and now they're ready to sleep) Gnight, sis.
