I awoke to the sound of my mom making breakfast in the kitchen.

Since I couldn't go back to sleep, I decided to listen to my favorite band.

Stray Kids.

"Why do I keep getting attracted-" I sang along to Case 143 until Rayna my best friend barged in and interrupted me.

"Hey girl hey, happy birthday!" She exclaimed hugging me.

"Oh yah I forgot." I said.

"How did you forget about your own birthday, I would never do that to myself." She said.

"Yea because your self obsessed you freak." I said rolling my eyes.

"Ugh, do you have to be such a grumpy person in the morning?" She asked.

"Yes, yes I do." I said back smiling.

"Oh that wasn't the only reason I came in here, your mom told me to tell you that breakfast was ready so get your lazy butt up." She said then walked out.

Ughhhhh.

I didn't want to get up, but you don't really want to test my mom in the mornings, so I got up.

I then walked into my bathroom and used the bathroom, then I brushed my teeth and walked out.

As I was walking down the stairs I could hear the TV blaring.

"Could you turn that down please, my morning ears can't take that noise." I said to Rayna who was watching the TV.

"Okay." She said turning it down.

I then walked into the kitchen and saw my mom washing the pots and pans she used to cook with.

"Morning mom." I said hugging her.

"Morning honey, how did you sleep?" She said after kissing the crown of my head.

"Fine, can I eat now?" I asked.

"Yeah, Rayna already got herself a plate, so after you get yours go sit by her, I have your birthday present ready." She said smiling.

"Okay." I said thinking about what the present could be.

It's probably clothes, I always get clothes.

After I got my plate I sat down on the couch, and munched on a piece of bacon.

"Alright sweetie here is your present." Mom said.

Mom handed me the present, and I opened it.

I was shocked, "Wait you actually got tickets to the concert, O my goodness I'm so excited, wait why is there two?" I asked.

"You didn't expect me to let you go alone now did you, Rayna will be going with you." She said.

"Wait really?! That awesome, I get to see Hyunjin!" Rayna excitedly said.

I laughed, "yeah, and I get to see flipping bangchan!" I exclaimed.

"Woohoo!" Rayna screamed.

"Thank you mom!" I said hugging her.

"Your welcome, now eat the rest of your breakfast." She said sternly.

I laughed, "okay."
