The wind, is a trivial thing we all think we own, that is wrong, the wind sings for us, we think it is a nuisance. The air we breathe is nothing compared to the wind that flows from places beyond our vision, or so I thought.

"You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be" chuckles ofter glaring at the door of the plane

"Hold ont-" Before he finished he flew out of the plane, I watched him plummet 15,000 feet. I felt nothing, no remorse, no sympathy, just nothing, it hit me like a truck that he fell out. We landed about 100 meters away from the original landing location, because....that is where he was. That marked the beginning before I noticed it at all. There was no body, not even a splat mark, he never hit the ground. For the first time since I left them, I felt fear, real fear.

I wake  up to a scream, "another one, seriously" I groan as I sit up I move my long pitch black hair away from my eyes and look around "The nightmare again," I say with a shiver ", it has been three years, stop harassing me!" I practically yell. Suddenly my door opens with a flinch I look at the intruder, "You ok" my roommate, Jae, asks. "Peachy" I respond with a bit of sarcasm. "You heard that person, another one didn't pay," Jae says with a tone of disbelief. "Yeah, well your shop is another place they go to launder money so you get protection for free you dork," I say back sharply. "We" He reminds me "We get protection for free, You're welcome by the way". "I don't remember saying thank you," I say without hesitation. He steps towards me "The hell you think you're doing, stepping into a ladies' bedroom without permission" I say while shaking my head "Well Crysta, I think this is why you don't have a boyfriend" He teases, I throw a pillow at him and he easily catches it "That wasn't nice" He says with sarcasm, "Neither are you, you work with monsters" I say "They pay well and monsters can do magic" He rebuttals, "And yet we live in a crappy two bedroom apartment" I say sharply "And we sometimes are forced into the Hunts by the monsters" I say with a slight amount of fear in my tone. He looks at the ground in shame after I refer to the games "What?" I question, He walks to me and hands me a paper. The Paper.

"You're invited," The envelope says in scarlet letters which I slowly open in fear "You're invited to the games" I continue to read "Two weeks." I say to myself "Two weeks"
