Walking into her first period, Ares was greeted by one of her best friends, Josephine Zhu but everyone called her Josie.
bright brown eyes and a large smile waved Ares over to their shared seating, that housed Ares, Josie and two other students.
despite her new found lack of interest in the student body, Ares still had a couple of friends— Paris, Josie,Kino, and Miles had been the people she leaned on. her circle used to be much bigger but others had seemed the public's opinion had been more important that their friendship.
"What was that this—"she started only to be interrupted as someone sat in the seat meant for her. sucking her teeth, Ares rolled her eyes at the site of blonde hair and green eyes as the boy smirked up at her from his stolen seat next to josie. "Luke." she spat as Josie let out a loud groan.
"Luke! Dude, move seriously." josie said and the blonde gave her a faux look of innocence.
"This is my seat, go back sitting over there."
"Your seat? i don't see your name on it." he said with a shrug as he began to get more comfortable, the action caused Josie to groan. Ares watched as the girl scrunched her face in irritation before she kicked at the leg of his chair. "Take a fucking hint, bro, and get up!" Josie gritted and Luke tutted at her with a click of his tongue.
"Ooh such foul language, Josephine. Clearly you should stop hanging with such ghetto trash. they're obviously not a good influence." Luke spat as he looked Ares up and down and all Ares could do was think back to when Miles told her and the girls that Luke had hit on him their sophomore year by sending him a random and unsolicited nude.
narrowing her eyes Ares went to bring his lack there of— up but was stopped as a voice cut into their conversation "Watch your mouth man." Came the voice of Jordan Baker, Resident fuck-boy, Football captain and Quarterback and a boy who Ares' no longer considered a friend. at the sound of his voice Luke, Josie and Ares rolled their eyes.
