Chapter 7 : I care for you

Sigh.... I'm feeling good after breathing some fresh air. It was also nice I got a day off. I got some better sleep and feeling refreshed also.
Now I feel its okay that he didn't woke me up. ..... Oh yeah! I've been calling him by his name. By the way, he also didn't said anything. I have done many things for him but in return I can't even get a nice talk from him. I treated him all night without sleeping. I don't regret it though. There may be day he will have to pay back my favor. We'll be equal then. Sudden laugh... hahaha...haha...
What kind of relationship is this we have to be on equal levels. It's really like we are just two roomates. But have I fallen for him? ... Nope, it's just because he is my... Spouse. It is my duty to care for him. But same goes for him.
... I have reached the bakery already....
I stopped by the office for some work. I felt like having something sweet so I came to this beautiful dessert shop. It's actually a bakery.
I get packed a cheesecake and a strawberry pie. I also have an ice cream. My favourite. I like to have ice cream more during winter.

It's dark already. Why isn't she coming? I let her sleep because she stayed up all night. Wasn't it enough. She should have a day off.

Doorbell rings...

Minjae: You went for shopping.

Hyunji: No. I just stopped by a bakery while coming back from work.

Minjae: You took the car?

Hyunji: Yes. Yours MERCEDES.

Minjae: Because mercedes didn't get serviced this month. It's good that it didn't stopped in halfway.

Even though I don't take his car usually he must inform me these things. Enters in her room....
Sneeze... Ugh.. I hate catching cold. But I was all covered. Forgetting that she had a whole ice cream cone. After getting changed to lounge wear.

Hyunji: Where are my desserts?

Minjae: I kept them in the fridge.

Hyunji: I am gonna have some though. ... You want some?

Minjae: No. Enjoy yourself.
Got angry over having a sandwich and now offering dessert mumbling...

He said he don't want to eat dessert. But he also make it obvious he actually wants some. So I offered him a slice of cheesecake.

Minjae: I don't...

Hyunji: Come on. It's all written over your face that you want some.

Minjae: ... Thanks. Takes a bite
It's... delicious.

Hyunji: Cheesecakes are always delicious.

Minjae: Clears throats.. hm hm.. What is the other one?

Hyunji: It's strawberry. It's also tasty but you don't like it. How poor.

Minjae: I don't like strawberry flavor??

Hyunji: Yes you don't...... (Shit i spilled it out.. ) in her mind

Minjae: How'd you know?

Hyunji: Just happen to. ... I'm done so I'm leaving. Good night. Don't forget to switch off the lights and turn on the lamp.

How I know that he doesn't like strawberry flavor? I remembered once in the college canteen his friends ordered some desserts and he said he don't like strawberry so order him a vanilla flavor.

: Yes. If you are feeling cold you should just rest in your cabin? Why are roaming around here?

: Okay. I'll send someone with coffee in your cabin.

On way to cabin

In the morning I was working as usually but  and went to take a shower. But because I put for veggies to cook on the stove I have hurry right away. And dang .. I slipped ... on the stairs and I was in my robe. Not to make Minjae awake I silently tried crawl. But suddenly a voice appeared 'No need to skip silently I was already awake.' It was Minjae. He switched off the stove and ask me to come to his room. Yeah, I was embarrassed and shocked at the same time because I was in my bath robe. Still I went.

Minjae: You shouldn't put something on stove if you're going for a shower.

Hyunji: I usually do this. Who knows today veggies will cook early.

Minjae: It's nothing new. I guess it happened a lot before.

Hyunji: What you mean by a lot. ... And please hurry, I'll get late.

Minjae: Here, take this. Apply on your ankle to reliefe pain.

Minjae: ......You shouldn't come out casually in your robe.

Staff: Sir. There are some list of designs. You can check. They are all finalized. You can pick now.

Minjae: Oh! Yes. Sorry I was busy thinking. I mean drinking my coffee. What did you said .

Staff: I said here is the final designs list. Please choose someone that the team can start making them.

Minjae: Hmm.. don't we any sample. It would have been better if I could see the sample.

Staff: We have but not from these designs. You can still compare the main design with the sample.

Minjae: Thinking... Okay. Then final these designs. And on more thing bring me the samples of neck pieces. Also few the best  un-finalized designs.

Staff: Sure sir. Leaves..

Sigh... I'm thinking hard right. I did saw her in her robe that day also. But... Today was a different scenario.
Aish! Why did I told her not wear it. She might have the wrong idea.

There's no sticky note today. Did she forgot or... No... (To incorrect thoughts) I should just check. She might be sleeping.
