my eyes slowly drift open the sun is shining, and birds are chirping I slowly get up stretching and stretching my wings I get up and  notice a scroll outside my cave I pick it up and unravel it it reads "Dear y/n you have been accepted to Jade academy in the jade winglet,  - best regards sunny, tsunami, clay, Starflight, glory  see you soon

I grab my satchel and throw the scroll in there along with some of my other scrolls and set it by my cave entrance I quickly maneuver around it and take off to catch a bird I quickly catch a hawk cook it and eat it then I throw on my satchel and take off again and head to jade academy soon enough I see it in the distance and I quickly make it there due to my skywing heritage I make it I  land hearing commotion inside i  slowly make my way inside trying to avoid the commotion when I notice a rather handsome sandwing and a brooding icewing they notice me walk in the sandwing notice me and he walks up to me  "hello! I'm Qibli, you're the new student, right? y/n? I think they said your name was y/n? right?" he asks smiling "yep! that's me!" I reply smiling his positive reaction rubbing off on me "So you're the new skywing?" I hear a voice from behind me I turn around and see this handsome glittering icewing 'Wow he's so pretty' I think. 

it seems Qibli noticed because he smirks and nudges me "Go talk to him" he says I give him a nervous look "I will go with you if you want" he says smiling I smile back blushing a bit "Yes, I would like that very much" I reply with a shy smile and with that we are off looking for 'Winter' Qibli told me his name.

we checked the library and the dining hall yet we still couldn't find him so we decided to find my sleeping quarters when we arrive I see two rug piles and an icy ledge with an icy blue icewing with white accents he picks his head up and turns over to us "Qibli, who's that?" winter asks 'wow he has a cute voice' I think as I feel myself blushing "this is our new clawmate, y/n he's a skywing sandwing hybrid." qibli replies with a smile.  "Oh." winter replies  he hops down from his ledge  and eyes me up and down  "h- hi, I'm y/n," I say nervously with a small smile  he just stares into my dark brown eyes with his own dark blue ones I feel my face heat up  "hi." he says flatly "I'm prince Winter." he replies to himself

"nice to meet you, Prince Winter." I respond with a smile  his eyes seem to light up "Finally someone respects my status" he says with a proud smile  of course" I reply with  a large smile "Why wouldn't I?" I ask curiously  "I don't know Qibli. and most of the other tribes don't." he replies I just give him an "ohh" face  "Where's Qibli?" I ask "I dunno." he responds  "Oh ok" I respond  then 

we hear a large bell ring  "What's that?" I ask  "The class bell." they both respond "Ohh, makes sense." I respond "What class do you have?" Qili asks me  "Art." I respond  "Us too." Qibli responds nudging me with his wing we start walking to Art
