Trevors POV
"Jeez, Kristal still hasn't called us to set up the challenge?" I asked Derek. It's like 4 in the afternoon, and we were told that challenges would normally be around 1 pm.
"Nope. Kinda glad though. Her and Emily are already starting to tick me off. Like, shoving us out of a plane? Seriously?! We didn't even do anything!" Derek rants.
"Yeah, that was pretty rude." I admit. "Wanna go ask what's the holdup on the challenge?"
"I guess we have nothing better to do. The service out her is ass. Let's go." Derek says, walking out of our tent and to the production cabin.
"Yo, Kristal! Is there a challenge today or what?" Derek shouts as he pounds on the door. No answer. "Hello?! Are you in there?!" He keeps knocking.
"Kristal?! Emily?! Hello?" I also start to call to them.
"I'm just gonna open the door. If they're not in there, at least we can use the coffee maker." Derek says. He turns the knobs and looks inside, and...
Oh... my... god...
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" He shouted. I was stunned, frozen in place. I couldn't say a word. All i could do is look at the bodies, eyes wide, in shock.
Dereks POV
What... the... actual fuck?! What happened?! How... how did this happen?!
"If... If they're dead, then..." I say, not able to finish my sentence.
"KRISTAL?! EMILY?! WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?!" Trevor shouts, finishing my sentence. Poor guy, i know he doesn't do well with gore. We've seen things in prison, but not anything like... this...
"HELLO?! YOU GUYS?! THIS IS JUST A CHALLENGE, RIGHT?!" He continues to ask, breathing heavily. Tears begin to stream down his face as he hyperventilates even more.
"I... I don't think it's a challenge, Trev..." I admit. He hyperventalates even more, even starting to choke and cough. "Trevor, calm down. We need to stay calm to get through this. Come here." I open my arms and he practically collapses into them, burying his head into my shoulder.
"W-what are we gonna do?" He asks me once he's let it all out.
"We gotta gather the campers and get them out of here. We can take the bus. I'll go make the announcement for the campers, and you see if you can contact the authorities. Got it?"
"G-got it babe." He says. We run to the production tent, and i grab the loudspeaker while Trevor goes to the phone.
TOMS POV
"And that right there's poison ivy! If you touch it too much, then it will make you itchy. I've had some pretty bad experiences with it." Gabby rambles. We're still on our walk from a few hours ago, but we're just now heading back. Gabby has taken the time to talk about forest facts. Definitely could be helpful later in the game.
"Same. When i was a kid i fell into it while playing football with my friends. I could barely sleep that night because it was just so... annoying." I say.
"Eesh, that sounds terrible." Aiden says.
"It was! The next day i could barely function at school and-" I explain, but i'm cut off by a loud screeching sound. Most likely the loud speakers.
"CAMPERS! Get to the production tent as soon as possible!" I heard... Derek say?
"Was that Derek?" I ask.
"I think so. If it's him announcing something and not Kristal than it must be something urgent. Let's go!" Lake says, as she starts to jog that way. The rest of the team, including me, follow.
