Zoro felt weird sensations of being in that hug; something like a sense of security, it made him feel like he could be again. He could be free from the chains holding him captive preventing him from the choice of living. These emotions are so strong it makes Zoro want to cry the tears he's been keeping hostage from the day he entered that treacherous place.
Suddenly, Zoro's eyes felt so heavy like he's been carrying this burden for five years. Zoro melted in Sanji's touch. His head fell limp gracefully onto Sanji's shoulder. He closed his eyes like a suffocating weight had been lifted off his chest.
Sanji looked at Zoro, noticing how his body felt heavier but still as small and light as it was. he heard soft snoring, the way he slept was almost innocent. Sanji let out a long and happy breath. He couldn't believe this; here he is with the man who everyone has wished to see in the past five fucking years.
Carefully, Sanji attempted to let go of the marimo to remove his blazer and cover him with it but Zoro wouldn't budge, his grip on Sanji was like if he ever let go his life would flash before his eyes. Sanji sighed, wherever he was kept in for five years must be a pretty shitty place if it made someone like the moss head so meek and afraid.
Sanji picked Zoro up bridal style, which made Zoro's grip tighten. He stood up with Zoro carefully placed in his arms. Sanji walks to his car just a street away. his initial plan was to go to the grocery store and get some broccoli, he won't lie even in these circumstances his only thought was: 'I guess I kinda did my task'. Sanji chuckled a little as Zoro stuffed his face in his neck.
Getting to the car, Sanji opened the door to the passenger seat and gently put Zoro down. Although Zoro is ten times smaller than he was before, his strength is no different. Sanji closed the door and made it to the other side of the car. Sanji sat in the car, he didn't know how nerve-wracking this was. He looks at Zoro's small and shivering body. Sanji took off his blazer and placed it on him. He then pulls his phone out of his pocket and makes a call as he starts driving.
"Zeff, I can't come back, have someone else buy you some broccoli."
"What do you mean you can't come back, some women caught your attention or something?"
"No, I'm just," Sanji took a second from looking at the road and talking to look at Zoro, "busy,"
"Whatever you say eggplant."
The rest of the car ride was silent other than Zoro's soft snoring. Sanji let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in when he parked at his apartment. He left the car and made his way to the passenger seat. When will he tell everyone about this treasure he found? He carried Zoro, who was still covered with the blazer, bridal style. Still in his sleep, the marimo wraps his arm around Sanji's neck tightly.
"Even when you're in this vulnerable state, you still want to strangle me," said Sanji as he closed his car door with his foot.
Sanji entered the lobby of his apartment and made his way towards the elevator. He waits a few seconds before the elevator door opens revealing his elderly neighbour, Grandma Linda, She gasps as she sees a petite lady in Sanji's arms.
"Oh my, is she okay?"
Sanji nervously looked around "Uh ya, she's just tired," he smiled awkwardly at her as he entered the elevator and she left. Sanji let out a sigh of relief, he didn't know why he was nervous. Sanji walks out of the elevator and into a hallway he walks to his apartment. He struggled to get out his key from his pocket while he was carrying Zoro. Once he finally found his key he opened the door happy to be finally home.
