The tension in the room was palpable as  Prince Seungcheol spoke with earnest determination.

"Jeonghan, we understand the pain you've endured, but the kingdom needs you," Seungcheol implored, his eyes reflecting the weight of responsibility. "You're not your father, and we believe in your ability to bring about positive change."

Jisoo, Jeonghan's brother, added, "We've been worried about you. You can't stay here forever. Our family needs to be whole again, and Ilsan deserves a governor who cares."

Jeonghan, however, stood firm. The memories of the court's disdain and his father's actions lingered, leaving scars that were not easily healed. "I appreciate your concern, but I've found a sense of peace here. I don't want to be part of royal affairs. I've had enough of the court's judgment."

Jisoo sighed, "Jeonghan, it's not about judgment. It's about creating a better future. Your absence is felt, and the Ilsan is in need of leaders who understand the people."

Jisoo, with a mix of frustration and concern, pressed on, "You can't let our father's mistakes define your life. You're more than that. Come back with us."

Jeonghan's gaze remained steady, "I've made my decision. I can't go back."

As the standoff continued, Seungkwan, a close friend who had supported Jeonghan's decision to live away from the court, entered the room. "Jeonghan, you've built a new life here. You don't need to go back if it brings you pain. Prince , Jisoo, can't you see he's happy?"

Seungcheol, torn between duty and empathy, replied, "I understand his happiness matters, but the kingdom is at a crucial juncture. We need all the capable leaders we can get."

Seungkwan stepped forward, addressing Jeonghan, "I've seen you find joy in the simple moments here. If going back means losing that, then it's not worth it. Your happiness matters too."

Jeonghan, touched by Seungkwan's support, nodded gratefully. "Thank you, Seungkwan. I've found a sense of purpose here, away from the court's expectations. I can't sacrifice that."

Seungcheol, realizing the depth of Jeonghan's conviction, sighed in resignation. "I can't force you to come back. But remember, the offer stands. Should you ever change your mind, we'll be there for you."

Jisoo, though disappointed, nodded understandingly. "Take care of yourself, Jeonghan. We'll always be family."

As the week unfolded, the three visitors prepared to depart Jeju. The farewell was bittersweet, marked by the understanding that paths once intertwined had diverged. Seungkwan, standing by Jeonghan's side, provided a comforting presence.

"I support your decision, Jeonghan. Your happiness matters the most," Seungkwan reassured, offering a genuine smile. Jisoo,"If you ever need anything, you know where to find me."

With heartfelt goodbyes, Seungcheol, Jisoo, and Hansol left Jeju, returning to their respective roles in the royal court. Jeonghan, though grateful for the family he had found in Seungkwan and chan and the tranquility of Jeju, faced the uncertainty of the future, determined to embrace the newfound freedom he had discovered.
