Shivani pov :

I tried to open my eyes but my whole body was paining like someone stabbed a knife in each part of my body. I slowly started opening my eyes and I could hear voices but was unable to recognise them.

"She is opening her eyes"

"He is still faint"

"Go bring a glass of water and fruits, I will check her"

"Ahhhh"

I hissed trying to open my eyes and move my body. I slowly opened my eyes to look at two people who were probably at my grandmother - grandfather age. The lady smiled looking at me and helped me to sit on the bed.

"Drink it"

I sat on the bed and my back rested on the headboard. The lady helped me to drink water and sipped the water slowly. I closed my eyes feeling relaxed but I remember goons, gunshots and we jumped from the cliff.

"Agastya"

I said looking here and there not finding him. I started panicking and tried to stand on my feet but again sat on the bed due to dizziness.

"Beta, aram se tum thik nahi ho abhi"

( Daughter, slowly you are not well)

Lady said caressing my hair and held my hand for support.

"Aunty, Agastya mere pati woh bhi mere saath the"

( Aunty, agastya my husband, he was with me)

I said panicking and tears started flowing from my eyes. I hope he didn't get hurt.

"Don't worry bacha, aapke pati dusre room Mai hai vaid ji unka ilaaj kar rahe hai bahut chot lagi hai use. Woh toh gao ke kuch machh - vaare ko tum dono mile aur jaldi se yahan vaid ke pass leke aa gaye"

( Don't worry child, your husband is in a different room and the doctor is treating him. He had a lot of wounds. Thankfully, fishermen's caught you and brought you to doctor )

Lady looked at me with concerned eyes and started cutting apples, forwarded to me.

"Aunty, ek baar unhe dekhne dijiye please"

( Aunty, let me see him please for once)

I pleaded to her and she nodded and held my hand for support as I was not able to walk properly. I looked at the house which was clean and simple but yet elegant. She opened the door of the room and I looked at my husband who was laying bare chest and doctor was applying some paste on his wound.

"Agastya"

I whispered his name sitting beside him on the bed. I caressed his hair and palmed his cheeks looking at him with teary eyes. I thought I lost him.

"Uncle, yeh thik to haina ? Jada kuch toh nahi hua na ? Inhe hosh kab aayega ?"

(Uncle, is he alright? Nothing much has happened, right? When will he come to his senses?)

I said looking at him which was looking pale and sick. His lips were dried like a death rose and his body was covered with bruises.

Seeing him in this condition, pangs my heart. I felt a strange pain on my chest like someone had punched my chest really hard. Maybe, he forced me to marry him but trust me I can confidently say that he is the best husband in the world.

I don't know why but I felt a warmth and security around him.if I lost in the darkness the first person i would think of is agastya because he became the light of my life.

He is the only person who I can rely on and without thinking anything I can trust him blindly because I know this person will never let anyone hurt me.

He can set fire around me to protect me from the world but don't let the flame touch me.
