── ˙ ̟ A VOW, A PROMISE TO PROVE HERSELF. Ah, she shifted inside her blanket. Every turns she made, it made her wince at the pain. It's been almost a year since the vow was made. Since then, she started to train, to strengthen herself, to get a control of her quirk. It was hell if she say so herself.
Her phone rung which she grunted at. At this time, someone had to call her. She can't even move a limb without feeling the cramp! Nonetheless, she answered the phone call, placing the phone on her left ear.
" Hello? Mina, I don't feel so good... " she whined with audible wince to prove it.
" Oh my god, what are you? Spiderman? " she chuckled at the reference her friend made. Y/N could only respond with a grunt, shifting blanket could be heard over the phone.
" Hold on, I'm putting you on speaker real quick. " she announced as she clicked the speaker button and got up from her bed, placing the phone at it's stand.
Mina continued to talk to her like usual while Y/N herself, stood in front of the full body mirror she had in her room. She forced her once slumped stand to stood straight. In the mirror, she can see slight changes on her body. Her once blank abdomen has toned up and so does her once ' frail ' arms. She flexed it, making her smile a bit.
" Hey Mina, if I ever tone my body up, what would you feel? " she questioned her friend. She kept on flexing her arms. Although it's not big, it's fine for a girl her age to have a slight toned arms.
" If you ever tone your body up? OMG I WOULD BE SQUEAKINGGG. No but for real though, you'd look good with it. Why? Did your body toned? "
" Wanna see it now or you wanna have it as a surprise? " she obviously wanted to surprise her friend but again, she's not sure when.
" Ah, I don't know. Oh I forgot to say this to you, but the entrance exam is 2 days away! " she told Y/N.
" What entrance exam, Mina? " she curiously asked, not sure what exam her friend told her about. Not that she could remember anything about it or whether they've talked about it before.
" UA entrance exam, duh. Didn't you remember that we both requested at UA last week? " she reminded her again. Realizing, she hastily grabbed her phone, opening the note app to see any reminders she forgotten about.
It's true. 24th of February. Two days left until the entrance exam. She sighed in hopelessness when she realized how she could forgot such important date that could determine her worth. To prove she's more than just a puny girl. The vow.
She sat herself on her the desk, trying to find the stun gun she kept since middle school. Now, she needed to prepare for her entrance exam and the outcome of it. When she found the object, she inspected it for any malfunctions or broken parts.
