"Back home in a bit ma!"

Y/n yelled to her mum in the kitchen while hurriedly putting her shoes on, the bag slung on her shoulder drooped downwards, standing up frantically, she fixed it back into place. She hadn't really put in a lot of effort into her appearance, considering she was just going to a store nearby. But still, to at least look decent, she set her hair and brushed her clothes slightly. And finally, turning the doorknob, she left her home, shutting it close behind her.

To some, it may simply appear as blatant combinations of sounds that just happened to go well with another, to some, simply unbearable noise.

To others... medicine, drug, solace, comfort, addiction, solution, escape, a language, inspiration, therapy, motivation, nostalgia, celebration, reflection, unity, energy, transcendence, identity, empowerment, communication, joy, protest, healing...

As if the list ever stops

~Somehow, she was one of them
And so was he~

Jogging to the store, music blasting through her headphones, y/n couldn't help but feel a little excited.
Her favourite musician had just recently released a new album, and the demand was quite high. Luckily, the people in her block didn't really give a shit.

It was more of a hobby. She liked collecting vinyl records even though she didn't have a record player, she just simply found them pretty. Everyone told her it was stupid, but y/n was saving up for a record player, which sure was hard considering the price tags of the records themselves.

Finally reaching the store, briefly out of breath, she greeted the owner. Y/n was there often, so she was quite comfortable with the owner.

"Grapes upon the vine?"

Her eyes lit up, with a small nod, she smiled.

"Just around the corner"

Out of excitement, she quickly headed to the part she had to, pausing when she saw a boy, taller then her and about the same age, standing there already. His back, which had a guitar strapped on it, was facing her, not aware of her presence yet.

She saw him holding the same album she was here for, that was strange, she barely saw anyone in the store, let alone someone with the same music taste.
