Yn carefully blows on her spoon, tasting the kimchi fried rice she spent twenty minutes preparing. The rich, spicy flavor brings a satisfied moan to her lips. Just as she’s savoring the moment, the clatter of broken glass interrupts her. She turns to see her roommate Talia, who has accidentally dropped a glass.
"C'mon, Talia, that was the last piece of the set," Yn says, her voice tinged with a mix of frustration and amusement. Talia, who has a knack for being clumsy, looks sheepish as she begins to clean up the mess.
"Sorry," Talia murmurs, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Yn and Talia have been living together for two months now. They’re not incredibly close but decided to share an apartment due to convenience. Talia, who is half American and half Korean, is reserved and avoids physical contact, though she has a tendency to be clumsy. Yn, on the other hand, is vibrant and talkative, often a bit messy but always responsible.
