Callista was 7 years old when she found out she was the daughter of the god of the sky, Zeus. She had always felt different than other kids, because she had adhd and dyslexia, but mostly because she didn't know who her dad was. Her mother Josephine or Jo always told her daughter her father loved them both but had to leave because he had other things to take care of other than his family, which made Callista resent him for a while. Until her powers started to show up and her mother took her to Camp Half-Blood and she got claimed by her father.
There she met her 3 best friends, Annabeth Chase, Luke Castellan, and Grover Underwood. A couple years later when Callista is 10, Grover is tasked to protect Percy Jackson until he is ready to go to Camp. Callista wanted to meet the boy who would be new in camp soon so she begs Chiron to join Grover in protecting and watching Percy. Her being the daughter of Zeus and being a good trusting kid Chiron allows her to help.
From there when Grover and her meet Percy it just clicked. Flash forward to 2 years later when the three are 12, Percy starts to get attacked by hades kids. And an adventure ensues.
