Chapter one the twins who lived

Mr and Mrs. Dursley of number four private drive were proud to say they were perfectly normal thank you very much

"You're welcome" Cordelia said cheekily
Lily Evans was deep in thought didn't her sister have a boyfriend named Vernon Dursley... she wasn't quite sure. Her sister rarely spoke to her anymore...

Mr Dursley was the director of a firm called grinning which made drills.

Before Arthur Weasley could put his hand up to ask what a drill was Dali tossed him a sheet of parchment and a quill
"Write down anything you don't know I'll explain it after the book is done" she told him kindly
"Thank you" Arthur said his ears Turning a red hue just like Ginny's did when she was embarrassed but even so he set to scribbling looking like a kid on Christmas

He was a big beefy man with hardly any neck although he did have a very large mustache
Mrs. Dursley was thin and blond and had nearly twice the usual amount of neck, which came in very useful as she spent so much of her time craning over garden fences, spying on their neighbors.

Lily Gasped "that sounds exactly like my sister"
Harry just smiled softly

The Dursley's also had a small son called Dudley and in their opinion there was no finer boy anywhere.

The Dursley's had everything they wanted but they also had a secret and their greatest fear was that somebody would discover it.

"Were they roommates?" Fred asked with bated breath
"I think they were Gred" George told him

"And they were roommates" Dali joked giggling

They didn't think they could bear it if someone found out about the potters

"And what's wrong with me?" James asked incredulously
"A lot of things" Severus snape and lily said in unison before looking at eachother glaring and then turning away with a hump

Mrs. Potter was Mrs. Dursleys sister but they hadn't met for several years; in fact Mrs. Dursley pretended she didn't have a sister because her sister and her good-for-nothing husband were as

"Hey!" James cried out looking absolutely insulted.
"I mean you're not exactly normal" Remus put out there
"Shut up Mooney I'm not good for nothing? Right?" James asked looking for some sort of support in this situation.
Dali got up from her beanbag chair and climbed into James potters lap
"I don't think your good for nothing in fact I think me and Harry are lucky to have a dad like you..." she murmured to him as James silently swore to protect this girl and never let any boys near her. He patted her back gently

UnDursleyish as it was possible to be. The Dursleys shuddered to think about what the neighbors would say if the potters arrived in the street...

"Probably that we're delightful" Dali put out from her spot still perched in James's lap
"That's my girl" James exclaimed proud his daughter had gotten his sass

The Dursleys knew the potters had a small son and a daughter too but they had never even seen them. Their children were another good reason for keeping the potters away they didn't want Dudley mixing with a child like that.

"And why not" james asked outraged
"They hate magic" Harry supplied as Dali continued to hide in James lap.
She's never been one to talk about the Dursleys and she never would be she hated how they treated her as a kid.
