How can she yell at him when he is the one who saved her?

He thought.

He was staring at her, comprehending her existence, trying to understand what in her led him to break his rule, the rule which he never broke after he made it. He remained silent and watched her actions.

She removed all her jewellery and then walked past him, ignoring him as if he didn't exist. He watched her leaving figure as his stubborn eyes were not ready to let her go from the sight.

She was already exhausted and he knew that she won't be able to walk further. After a moment he saw her fragile body, loosing it's balance and before the ground can have her ethereal touch, he immediately captured her in his arms.

The rain was not in mood to stop and even started pouring more as if the nature too was celebrating their encounter.

He looked closely at her, and realised what a beauty she is!

Her wet hair was falling on her face which he didn't like as it was blocking his view. He with gentleness removed the strands and caressed her cold cheeks.

She feels, so like mine!

Next Day

Sarah woke up with a heavy headache and found herself in an unknown place which looked like a hospital. She looked here and there trying to comprehend the situation she was in. She got up and tried to remembered about last night. The last thing she remembered was her parents fighting over the deal they made with Kamraan which she found so heartbroken that she ran away from her home. She was in her thoughts when the door opened and a man with a gentle smile enter the room.

"Hope you are fine now." He said with a smile putting the medicine at the table.

Sarah instead of replying kept staring at him as the person in front of him was a total stranger to her.

"Don't worry! I am Meraj. You got unconscious so I brought you here." He said and gave her the medicines to eat.

"Oh! Thank you and sorry for the trouble." She said in her low voice gulping the capsule with water.

"No worries!" He said and was leaving when Sarah stopped him.

"I..i don't have money to pay...

"The bill is already paid." He replied and left from there without glancing at her.

He came out of the hospital room and took out his phone, dialing a number.

"Hello! She is conscious now and i paid the bill as you said." He said and in response he just got a "hmm" after which the phone was cut from the other side. Meraj looked at the caller ID, Boss, as the I'd says with a crown emoji. He sighed and left from there to the office.

In the office

Ejaz was sitting in his cabin going through the biodatas of girls whose proposals have came for his beloved son. It's been hours but he wasn't able to find any perfect suit for Osman. He sighed in defeat and threw the file on his table. At this moment he wasn't even sure whether he will be able to see his son getting married or not.

He was in his thoughts when the cabin's door opened and a girl came into his room. As soon as she entered the whole atmosphere glowed up and became cheerful.

"Hey uncle!" She said and kept the cup of coffee infront of Ejaz with a bright smile capturing her lips

"Aleena! What are you doing here at this time?" He asked but he knew the purpose of her arrival as it is not new for him.

"I came here to see you." She said and sat infront of him and was about to open the file when Ejaz took it and kept it in his drawer.

"Sorry! That's confidential." He said with an apologetic look and she smiled in embarrassment.

"How are you doing?" He asked making the atmosphere less awkward.

"I am fine. And you?" She said and handed over the coffee to him.

"You know you don't have to do all this." Ejaz said taking the coffee with a smile.

"Come on uncle. You are like my own father. I really like to take care of you." She said with the sweetest smile but Ejaz seemed unaffected as he knows that she is doing all this for her own betterment.

After having casual  conversation for some minutes, Aleena finally decided to leave making Ejaz sighed in relief. She bid her goodbyes and left when Amir entered the cabin.

"I was standing outside your cabin from good minutes." He said approaching Ejaz with another file.

"You were allowed to come." He replied staring at Amir and taking the file from him. But instead of opening it he kept it inside his drawer.

"I didn't want to hear her same talks again and again." He said and received a glare from Ejaz.

"She will never get what she wants." Ejaz said and stood up from his chair.

"But she is a lovely girl and most importantly she is your best friend's daughter."

Amir said trying to understand Ejaz that the bride they are searching for is right infront of their eyes. But Ejaz's one glare was enough to make his mouth shut. He raised his hands in defeat.

"Let me bring more biodata for you." He said and left from their.

And the search continues, was the last thing Ejaz heard from Amir and the door closed. He sighed and rubbed his forehead as he was unable to find a way.

He then remembered about the file, that Amir gave him few minutes before. He took it out and opened it. The first thing he saw was a picture of the girl who looked innocent and cute wearing round spectacles and baggy clothes.

"Sarah Haider." He red the name and turned the page to read the whole history of the girl.
