Three Light shuttles flew past. Two military, one marked with EFU Insignia, while other air traffic steered clear, carrying President John Henders, originally from the UK, Elected president 2 years ago in 2037, serving his first 4-year term, now flying above the heart of the EFU. If people call New York the ' Capital of the World', they would be very wrong. The city of Brussels is the centre of the world, and the capital of the enormous Federation, with a population of almost 940 Million people.
Noticeably not in Europe are the four nations of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the City of Hong Kong, all independent member states of the EFU. Canada joining in 2034, Australia and New Zealand in 2036, and Hong Kong, which upon the establishment of the EFU in 2029, was released from the United Kingdom, being the Region of Hong Kong of the EFU, much to the Dismay of China, which then invaded the city in 2032 in the Third World War.
The streets were clear of people, small EFU flags littering the ground from celebrations the day before, now, the streets are eerily silent of everything. On the ground EFU Infantry Fighting Vehicles and Tanks moved on the streets, ready at any moment.
On the shuttle, the President was being briefed.
" Mister President, so from what we know, and see from Orbit, we are in another world. Our aircraft are on their way to map out continents close by now. Our food supply and production is capable of sustaining us, however, commodities, especially things like Chocolate and Coffee will definitely have rising prices. "
The President nodded. " What about the economy, and the military? And our satellites, why are we sending aircraft and not just looking through satellites?"
The officer nodded, tapping on the holographic display, bringing up a preliminary map. " Mister President, our satellites and stations requires time to be reoriented. The surface area of this world is.. up to six times larger than Earth. Meanwhile, the economy is expected to have a market crash, equal to, if not greater than the market crash in 2032 after the nukes with the lost of Africa and India. With Australia, Canada and Greenland now much closer to the Mainland, Arsenal birds are patrolling through."
The President nodded again. " An emergency parliamental meeting is in order then. Wait, if the planet surface is larger.. wouldn't our space elevators be stressed? And the weather change?"
The aid nodded. " We still do not understand, but the space elevators and the weather are all stable."
The Shuttle landed at one of the landing pads of the Parliament Building, and the President is escorted in.

21'st January | 2025
Following long debates in the European Union, the Process of Federalization began, beginning the centralization of the European Union, united European Military forces into the European Armed Forces ( EAF ).
EAF Branches includes the European ( Union / Federal Union ) Air Force, the European ( Union / Federal Union ) Navy, the European Space Forces, and the European Ground Command, a combination of the Marine corps and the Army.
The United Kingdom readmitted into the European Union
Ukraine, Bosnia, Turkey, North Macedonia, Georgia, Albania, Moldova, Bosnia, Montenegro, Norway, Kosovo and Serbia are admitted into the European Union, much to the dismay of the now-crumbling Russian Federation.
In a historical announcement, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada each submitted an application to the European Union.
24'th July, | 2027
Brussels was designated the capital of the upcoming European Federal Union, and Brussels begins to be heavily expanded, with the European Parliament moved to the new Parliament Building, Brussels.
The European Federal Council was established, being the ruling body of the upcoming European Federal Union.
Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada are admitted into the EU.
