True love!

Prologue :

Knock, knock, knock!

Was the sound that woke me up , making me gasp for air. It took me a few minutes to sit there trying to catch my breath and try to figure out what was going on. I casually looked over to see my alarm clock to see what time it was, it read 2:00 am. I was thinking to myself , " is this really happening?". So I slowly was crawling out of bed and headed out of my room. Knock, knock , knock! I heard as soon as I faced the stairs, so I rushed down them and finally opened the door.

To see my best friend Adam outside the door drenched, I let him in to dry off. When he was all dry I asked him, " what's going on?".

His answer was, " there is no time for me to explain ,but my mom is in the hospital and we need to go now." We both rushed to his car and got in, on the way there, their was dead silence the whole ride to the hospital, every time I would look over he would be concentrated on The road with heavy breathing so i slowly looked back in front of me. As soon as we arrived at our destination we speed to climb out the car and into the hospital , to his mothers room.

As we got to his mothers room Adam said, " okay now this is a good time to explain things , my mom was in a car accident on the way home . She was driving and this drunk driver thought it was a good Idea that he would go on my moms side of the road and hit her head on and cause my moms car and his to be crushed and use the jaws of life to get them both out and rush them to a near hospital." When he was done explaining we finally got to his moms room. We slowly opened the door and entered her room, when my eyes meet hers i tried my hardiest to keep back the tears . Which I wasn't doing a very good job at it. Adam rushed sat right by her side and was holding her hand for dear life. So I thought that they would need a moment so slowly turned away and started walking away but I was stopped by Adam he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him and said, " please don't leave I need you."

At that exact moment al you could hear is.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.............

....... Just seeing that flat line just killed me inside and just made my stomach just turn.

All the doctor started to rush in and just focus on her and a couple stood behind to tell us that we got to get out of the room, but that did not stop Adam , he wanted to be by her side at all times . It took about two doctors to hold him back and I told him, "everything is gonna be fine as long as you have faith that it's gonna be fine"

It was a few hours when we got the results from the surgery and it turns out that all of her organs just decided to quit on us, as soon that left the doctors lips I just froze then slowly turned my head to Adam and he just collapsed to his knees and punched the ground and started shouting, " This can't be right....... THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT, SHE CAN'T BE DEAD!"
