It's Forbidden Text Story Scenes

Part 11

When you walk up to the astronomy tower, Draco is already there. You stand there for a moment admiring how attractive he looks leaning over the wall of the tower looking up at the stars. You take a picture of him to show him later and then walk over to him. When he hears your footsteps, he looks up at you. He grins when he sees your face. 

"Hey, beautiful," he says, walking over and wrapping you in his arms and kissing you gently. "Come look at this constellation I found while waiting on you."

He takes your hand and pulls you over to where he had just been standing. "You see those stars all in a cluster there?" You look where he is pointing and nod as you see the group of stars he's talking about. "What do you think they look like?"

You stare at them for a few moments trying to make out any shape in the constellation. "I mean, maybe a cat... or a bear?" you finally say sort of starting to see something.

"It's called Ursa Major, The Great Bear," he says with a grin. You smile up at him, loving how much his face lights up talking about it. 

"I didn't know you liked the stars," you say to him, as he takes your hand in his. 

"At home whenever my dad was particularly frustrating or on my case about something, I would always go outside," he starts, as he massages his thumb over your hand. "Looking up at the stars reminds me that no matter how controlling he wants to be, there will always be things in this world out of his control."

"I think you can be one of those things, Draco," you say, as he turns to you and puts your hand on your cheek. 

"Maybe," he simple replies before leaning in to kiss you. "There's something I want to tell you." Instantly the look on his face changes, and you're unsure. 

"Okay." 

"There's a Sacred 28 party Friday night. I told my parents Astoria and I broke up hoping it would get them off my case. I have to go regardless, and they want me to bring a pureblood date. I've asked Pansy to go with me." Your heart sinks hearing this, but you don't let it show on your face. You knew things would never be able to go anywhere with him, so it's unfair of you to get angry now. 

"Okay," you say, turning back to look at the stars. 

"You aren't angry?" he asks, looking at you in surprise. 

"We're not together, Draco. I can't stop you," you say simply. You can see a pained look cross his face. 

"I don't want to take her." You turn and look up at him, feeling frustration start to flair up. 

"Then don't," you simply say. 

"It's not the simple," you can see him retract a little, not understanding why you don't understand. 

"But it is that simple. You're just choosing for it not to be," you reply, annoyance on your features. "It doesn't even matter. You don't like me. We're just fuck buddies. You didn't even have to tell me."

"I know," he says, frustration now on his features. "Listen, I'm sorry. Don't be mad at me." He reaches for you, and you let him even though you shouldn't. You knew deep down you were the one who was going to get hurt in this situation. 

You look up at him, and he kisses you again. You let your body relax into him, losing yourself in the feeling of it. Kissing him was different and that scared you.

He moves behind you and wraps his arms around your waist, looking back up at the stars with you. He continues to point out different constellations. For the next hour, the two of you talk and get to know each other without all of the banter, something you'd never really done seriously with him. 

When you finally leave the astronomy tower, you are surprised when he kisses you goodnight and then walks you to your dorm. "I don't want you to think I don't want to sleep with you. I do. But I want you to know that you're more than sex to me." You look at him in surprise, really confused by his sudden shift in attitude. When he leaves, you lay in bed, not sure what to make of where the night had gone. You could still feel the frustration knowing he would be all over Pansy Friday night.
