Today was the day.

The day Sunghoon moved.

As much as I didn't want him to leave, I loved him dearly, so I respected his decisions.

I cried as he quickly pulled me into an embrace.

And I thought this was the perfect time.

I soon say, "I've been meaning to tell you this for a while now, but it won't matter,"

Sunghoon looks confused but listens.

"I've liked you for a while now, Sunghoon, I didn't want to ruin anything between our friendship so I kept it for so long, I kept trying to hide my feelings for you, and it didn't work, and now your leaving, so I wanted to tell you I love you, and I wish you the best moving forward," I finished with a waterfall of tears streaming down my eyes.

Sunghoon confesses, "Sunoo, I've liked you too, but I didn't know how to say it,"

I wipe my tears and say to him, "It's okay. You don't have to worry about it now,"

Sunghoon replies, with tears rolling down his cheeks, "Maybe in another world, we'll love each other like we were always meant to," 

And he walks away, without a last glance at me.

Because we both knew it would hurt.
