~five: pan panic!~

a/n: helloooooooooo omg two posts this week?! ima try to write more often from now on, but still no schedule <3

i sat nervously as we took the final few turns before getting to the airbnb. what if you make a bad impression? what if you look bad? what if they don't like you? what if you're the only girl? my brain rambled. i felt warmth on my left hand, toby holding it i attempt to calm me down.
"it's gonna be ok, wise girl. everyone's going to love you! ok?" toby said, practically reading my mind.
"thanks tubs," i said smiling with my newfound reassurance.

we'd just arrived to the airbnb. it was a breathtaking sight. a huge home with tall windows all over, a pool in the back garden, it was gorgeous!

i woke tommy up, and we all grabbed our bags and took them inside where i was greeted by many kind faces.

a particularly tall man with glasses walked over to greet us first. it's wibur! i immediately recognized the face from the image on the cover of your new boyfriend, a brown haired girl followed close behind. oh thank athena, i'm not the only girl here! i try to keep the relief away from my face as i hugged them both. they both went and engulfed tommy and toby into hugs

"hi, i'm wilbur!" wilbur said kindly.

"yes, i've seen your music, or rather i've heard your music! big fan!" i blush.

"im honored!" he smiled kindly.

i looked over at the girl. she smiled at me kindly, "hi, er, i'm evelyn! i'm wilbur's friend! oh and, you can call me evie," she introduced herself.

"katheryn simons! you can call me kate though! and i'm tommy's sister." i smiled, "do you like music?" i asked, in an attempt to get to know evie better.

"duh! wait, what's your favorite song?" evie asked, obviously excited that we have similar interests.

i liked her (/p), she had a super chill vibe and kind soft voice and laugh i could listen to for hours. hey, kinda like tubbo- no. stop. you don't like toby, he's your brothers best friend! and he's yours too! my brain got into a short fight with itself. "hm... that's hard! i guess i like... uh... hmmm.... ever heard favorite crime by olivia rodrigo?" i asked evie, praying that she knew the song.

"oh. my. gosh. YES! i love that song!!!" she hummed along to a minor part of the song, "it's bittersweet to think about the damage that we do! cause i was going down but i was doing it with you! yeah everything we broke and all the trouble that we made, but i say that i hate you with a smile on my face! oh look what we became! all the things i did! just so i could call you mine! all the things we did! well i hope  was your favorite crime!" she sang, her voice was angelic!

"wow." i breathe, "your voice is incredible!" i said in awe.

"aww, thanks! i don't think so though..." she responded.

"omgs gurl, you. are. an. angel!" i insisted. this time she simply smiled.

"you should go meet the rest of them," she giggled a bit, "they'd love to see you!" i nodded and went over.

i looked around for a familiar tall man, "RANBOOOO" i yelled as i saw him and ran over for a hug.
"hello to you too, kate." ranboo smiled, returning the hug. he ruffled my hair as i pulled away.
"hey! your not that much taller! only like a foot taller!" i laughed, my 5'6 ass was much shorter than him still. too bad tommy got most of the hight from our dad, but it's ok because i got most of the intelligence!

i walked over to niki. gods. she was the DEFINITION of pan panic. "hi niki," i said shly.

her smile grew brighter, as if she wasn't pretty enough, "hi, you must be evie! wilburs told me tons about you, and, well, i've watched your streams before! your really cool!" she opened her arms for a hug, which i immediately took.

i went back to the group, we were still unsure if anyone else was gonna end up coming to the meetup, but honestly, i was happy with the people who were here right now.

~time skip to around 8pm~

i was on the couch with my headphones in making a pjo edit for my youtube, a percabeth edit. such a cute couple- i felt a weight next to me on the couch. i looked up from my phone to see who it was. "oh! hey toby!" i smiled in his direction and put my phone down.

"can i listen to what you were listening to?" he asked scooting closer to me.

"oh, well, i was actually making an edit for my youtube so..."

"ok, okay thanks fine!" he smiled. i gave him an earbud anyways. i kept working on my edit. i finished up. it was pretty good, i decided not to post it quite yet though.

"do you wanna watch a movie?" i asked toby.

"sure, b- uh kate!" toby turned bright red. i wonder what he was about to say... probably nothing. i took my mind off it by opening netflix on my phone,

"what do you wanna watch, tubsie?" i looked next to me and saw him staring at me.

"tubsie?" he chuckled.

i turned pink, "i dunno, sorry about it. i just though it was a cute nickname, bee boy." i giggled.

"no, it's fine! it's a cute nickname, katie. unless you want me to keep calling you wise girl!" i elbowed him softly.

"i really don't care what you call me, bee boy." i smiled and giggled.

"ok then, wise girl." he giggled with me as we picked something to watch.

a/n: not me going to see what's on netflix rn cuz idek anymore.

"let's watch stranger things!" we both exclaimed at the same time as we searched. "wait... jinx! jinx again! stop copying me! you're so annoying! bruh!" we said simultaneously.

"oh my gods. we were in perfect sync!" i laughed very loudly.

tubbo just laughed. "ok, so let's binge watch as many seasons as we can!" i said, turning on my airplay to the tv so i could stream it from my phone.

"okayyy" he said as the intro started to play.

"DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU DU" i sang along jokingly.

we were about 3-4 episodes in when my eyes got super heavy. sure, i loved the show, but i'd seen it about 13 quantillion times! i fell asleep right where i was...
