Theadora's Perspective
"What do you guys want?" I mumbled from my cocoon of blankets. Then I remembered it was movie night.
"It's your turn to pick the movie!" Jett said excitedly. Carden and Heath nodded along with him expecting an answer.
"Alright give me five." I said. They scurried off like little mice and I grabbed the blanket from my bed and wrapped myself in it. I climbed the ladder and walked to the ginormous couch we had. When I sat down Milo handed me the remote and I started searching. I liked to make them cry so I chose the saddest movie I knew, Me Before You was a winner.
I fell asleep during the movie and when I woke up some of them were bawling like a little baby, the others were sniffling, I felt very accomplished.
"So, how was the movie?" I grinned as I asked.
"Never again are we watching that." Archer said. I think I might have seen a tear or two in his eye.
"Well, I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight guys." I said and waddled off. When I got back to my bed I climbed in and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I felt it throughout my body, the darkness. It overtakes me and turns my good memories into the worst ones. Mack, my baby brother, had always been kept from me but the few chances I had to play with him were the ones I cherished the most. The ones I hated the most.
I felt pressure on my arms and legs, I jumped, took a deep breath but realised my face was tearstained, once my eyes focused I saw Archer. Tears were still falling down my face so I just fell into his warm embrace.
I must have fallen asleep again because when I woke up he was gone. I checked my watch, 8:15 am, time for breakfast but I wasn't in the mood. I put on some clean leggings and a sweater and used the bathroom. After I was done I went to the dining area, they all looked at me, I sat down and tapped my fingers on the table.
