Medic (A Nico di Angelo story)

Nightmares

Percys POV

The campfire was about to start soon but I hadn't seen Nico since breakfast. I walked over to Jason's cabin to ask him if he had seen Nico. He opened the door and I said "Hey Grace have you seen neeks? I havent seen him since lunch."

Jason said "I haven't seen him but Piper said she and a few of her friends saw Will take Nico to the infirmary."

I said "Okay, so what are we waiting for? Lets go see if our neeks is ok." Jason and I walked across camp and got to the infirmary. We opened the doors and started to talk about strategies to find Nico.

That is until Will came out from around a corner and basically told us to shut-up. He said Nico was sleeping. I had a schocked look on my face and said "Wait you got Nico to sleep?"

Will looked up and said "Yeah why do you say it like that?"

"Oh well only because he doesn't usually go to sleep because of the nightmares." I said.

Will looked at me for a second then said "Wait your telling my that Nico isn't getting enough sleep because he has nightmares? I know that demigods can have extreme nightmares but bad enough to not get sleep that is a new."

"Well Nico being a son Hades basically gets everything any normal demigods gets just twice as hard. I feel really bad for him." I said.

Will then led us to the room Nico was in. We saw Nico shaking in bed with tears streaming down his face. The next thing I knew Will was right next to him trying to shake him out of his nightmare.

"NICO!" Will screamed then me and Jason were on the other side of Nico's bed. Jason then sprang up and said "Wait i'll go get Piper. She might be able to use her charmspeak!" Jason then bolted out of the firmary.

Jason came back about a minute later with Piper and we still hadn't goten Nico up. Piper leaned over Nico and said into his ear "Nico wake up."

Nico sprang up with his eyes wide. He reached to the side table and was looking for something then Will hugged him.

Nico's POV

I was there again. I was back in tartarus. I saw my sister Bianca and my mother they were talking then they saw me. They looked disgusted. My mother said "How could you. You disgrace. Liking a man. Percy Jackson will never like you."

 I fought to keep back tears. "I don't like Percy!" I screamed. My mother looked at me and laughed "You are such a liar you have feelings for the boy. And this new solace boy too.

Bianca then said "It's your fault I died. If you would have stopped me then I wouldn't have died." I fell to the ground sobbing. "No it was Percy's fault. He said he would protect you!" Bianca then said "And you belived him because you were so in love with him. It makes me sick."

Then next thing I knew I shoot up and went to grab a balde from the side table. Will, Percy, Jason, and Piper were crowded around me I stopped and felt Will envelope me in a hug. My heart started to slow down and now it wasn't trying to beat out of my chest.
