"Three! Two! One! happy birthday grand-grandie!" thern said giving the cake to his grandmother who is sitting in the sofa looking surprised.
"oh wow my dear, thank you so much" said the old lady and puts the cake in the table and quikly hug thern. " how sweet of you~" she added.
"its the result of your hard work grandie, thank you for everything that you did for me when I was still a kid I love you so much" thern said and hugged his grandmother more warmly as they sit on the sofa.
"oh my loving grandson how can i live without you, huh?" the old lady asked as she cares thern's face "when the time has come,and I passed away try to find someone that who will love you my dear,like how i love you okay? the old lady said and pats thern's shoulder.
" come on grandie dont say that, remember your promise? both of us will go to the carnival when we earn much money right?" thern said with a worried look on his face.
"haha how can i forget about that huh? we still need a picture together in the big wall of flowers about that-" she gave a brief,raspy cough before continuing to speak.
"o-okay grandie, well then keep your promise huh? here's some water and get some rest for now" thern said giving the water to the old lady.
he never knew that his life will get more heavier when one day his grandmother got sick that needs to stop working.so he did not hesitate to make his grandmother stop working because he feel pity of her situations because seeing her work makes him worried and sad. "grandie please just take some rest at your room,I'll just finish this and I will be with you" thern said looking at his grandmother fixing the plates at the sink
"grandie please just listen to me for now, i know that you wanted to help but your health is more important to me" thern added and straightly looked at his grandmothers eye's and sighs.
"Im really sorry my little boy that i am sick and now ahem, you are the one who is doing the hardwork that supposed to be i am the one enduring it" his grandmother said and cough a bit
"grandie Its not your fault, besides its okay for me to work at least I can now pay you back your sacrifices when the time that you still take care of me" thern said to his grand mother and hugged her. 'now can you please listen to me? and get some rest? he added
the old lady smiles and nodded , "please take care my dear" she said.
"you too grandie" thern said while fixing the plates.
