The next morning Charlie walks in .
Charlie : hey darling the doctors said that your able to go home only if we change your bandages every day and apply cream .
Delilah : finally I need to get out of this place. Where's Sam I thought he was meant to be my bodyguard .
Charlie : oh him Jacob and Billy are all at the house sorting the room downstairs for you .
Delilah : woah Jacob's back haven't seen him in a while .
Charlie : yeah I thought it would be best for you to be downstairs because you're gonna struggle to get upstairs .
Delilah : yeah but im ready to go .
Charlie : alright I'll go sign the papers don't go anywhere .
Delilah : oh yeah very funny dad .
Charlie : I know I am .
He walks out and Carsile walks in .
Carsile : ahh glad to see your awake Delilah you had us worried for a minute .
Delilah : I want you out of my room I know exactly what you are and what sort of hold your son has over my sister and I want you out .
Carsile : whatever you want but I think you should know that not everyone's greener on the other side .
Delilah : it's not greener no but it's safer then you bloodsuckers now get out .
Carsile : okay
He turns around and walks out and Charlie walks back in with a wheelchair .
Charlie : right all your papers are signed let's get going .
A nurse walks in after him and helps you up and into the wheelchair .
Delilah : dad it hurts
You start wincing and shifting around .
Nurse : alright I'll get you some pain meds .
She walks out while your dad tries to make you as comfortable as you can . The nurse walks back in and gives you some pain meds .
Nurse : you should feel better soon let's get you home .
Charlie : I'll go pull the truck around
Delilah : okay .
He goes out and the nurse pushes you out and Charlie brings the truck around and jumps out .
Charlie : right let's get you in .
Him and the nurse help you up into the truck and put you as comfortable as you can be and dad shuts the door .
Charlie : thank you doctor .
He walks round the front of the truck and gets in .
Charlie : let's see what these boys have done .
Delilah : let's hope they haven't gone through my draws .
Charlie : don't even joke about that .
Delilah : hahah let's hope I actually heal fast and no one looks at me .
Charlie : hey you're going to have scars but listen it doesn't matter if people stare it just shows you could go through something like that and come out the other side .
Delilah : yeah but if one person looks at me the wrong way I'm battering them .
Charlie : let's not retort to violence and about school they've given you 2 weeks off just to rest and then Paul and embry are going to be with you every step of the way .
