*Annabeth's POV*

All I could do was stand there helplessly as Draco kissed me and abandoned me dropped on the floor.For the first time in a long time, I felt something warm and wet fall down my cheek.And this had to happen to me right after we learn about a ball.McGonagall announced it earlier that day.We were having it in honor of our arrival, it was boys ask girls.But of course, this happens to me.And all I could do was cry.

I stayed there all day, as no one bothered to help me, not even my so called friends.I thought I was going to stay there forever until I felt two hands on my shoulder. "Are you alright?"asked a whimsical voice. "How did you get here?"an older boy's voice asked.As they untied me I answered, "Malfoy did something horrible to me, and left me here.Once I was fully untied I turned to my two heroes, one had flowing blond hair and a kind smile, the other had red hair and a mischievous smile."Hullo, I'm Luna,"said the blond,"and I'm George, "said the redhead putting out his hand. "Well I'm Annabeth, obviously one of the American demigods, "I said smiling gently shaking George's hand.I have to say he reminded me of the Stoll brothers. "What did Malfoy do to you?"asked George curiously. "He kissed me against my will, "I sighed."You better go make up with Percy then,"Luna said."Why?"I asked."Aren't you two a couple?"George asked confused. I blushed,"No."Luna and George shrugged,"Still you better make up with Percy. "I nodded curtly and dashed off to find my friends.

I found them in a group at the fire in the common room."What do you want?"Percy glared at me."Betrayer,"I heard Harry whisper."Traitor,"I heard Ginny mutter.On the other hand Thalia, Nico, and Will stayed quiet.I felt the tears rolling down my face again, "I'm sorry,"I whispered between sobbs.I explained everything, not very loud, as I was crying through it all.Seeing the looks on their faces, I ran to my dorm and started throwing things into a suitcase.As I was throwing my scarf in I heard the door open behind me.Still hiding my face with tears I tried avoiding Percy's glace.He grabbed my hand, I pulled it away."I'm sorry for assuming things , I never should have,"he said tenderly pulling me into a hug.Chocking back my sobs, I turned to face him."Hey,"he said wiping the tears off my face,"it's alright Wise Girl, it's all over."I smiled, breathing in deeply.As if noticing everything was okay, all the others came into the room, apologizing and hugging me."So, you ready for that ball?"
