-𝗕𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲-||𝗔 𝗫𝗶𝗮𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗰||

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗜

Lumine was finally done with her journey in Mondstadt as Venti/Barbatos told her to find help in Liyue.

A few hours later after she finally got ready, Lumine and her tiny floating companion, Paimon set out into Liyue. The journey was not easy, but she managed to push it through the mountains and the freezing cold of Dragonspine. 

Since there wasn't enough time to go into Liyue Harbour as it was already fall by then, They both decided on camping outdoors in the grass. That was when a loud grumble escaped from Paimon's stomach.

"Lumine, Paimon's hungry and wants to eat!" The floating companion named Paimon exclaimed to the blonde hair traveler, "Paimon wishes we brought some food, but just now as we were passing through.. Paimon saw an empty hilichurl camp with a pot and a fire!" Paimon said gleefully to Lumine.

"I wonder who's the lucky traveler that can cook for Paimon!" Paimon pondered aloud. "Well, I already know of your antics Paimon, so I'll cook for you." Lumine laughed at her little floating companion's hunger, "Thank you! Wait- Heyy! What are you laughing at Paimon!?" Paimon stomped her foot in the air.

A few minutes later after they reached the hilichurl camp, they indeed found an empty pot and a fire lit beneath. And so, as per Paimon's demands, Lumine cooked for her little companion and ate together while sitting in the grass staring at the night sky.

They camped outdoors in the grass, it was not comfortable but was better than nothing. Lumine slept, but awoke slowly gasping and sweating because of a nightmare she had. In the nightmare was the unknown god plunging her cubes at Aether, Lumine's twin brother.

Paimon too awoke at the sudden movement of Lumine, she saw her sweating and was concerned, "Lumine, are you ok? Paimon is worried about you!" She said in a worried tone that had a hint of concern to it.

"Yes.. I just.. had a nightmare..." Lumine sighed "It's no big deal anyways! You can go back to sleep while I keep watch." Lumine smiled at Paimon gently while touching the hilt of her sword.

 "B-But-" Paimon wanted to object before she was interrupted by Lumine, "It's alright Paimon, I'm not that sleepy anyways. So you go back to sleep." Lumine said firmly but had a sense of affection for Paimon, 

"You've done enough by guiding me throughout Mondstadt, and you should sleep!" Lumine added, she has a gentle heart so she felt the urge to take the first watch while Paimon slept.
