{Chpt 1} The New Kids

"Dakota S. please come down to the main office please at the end of the period"

You heard you're name over the loud speaker and you can't figure out why. You think of the worse possible things but then you realize you have a 4.0 GPA and your the best student in your grade. I mean its not that hard because you go to Sumnerton Heights High. You haven't gotten a new kid since 2011. (That's when your older brother, Dylan, was a Sophmore)

As soon as you hear the bell, your out of your 3rd period literature and basically sprinting to the Main Office.

"Ms. Sherman please sit" asked your principal, Mrs. Harbor.

You sit, still thinking of what you did wrong.

"I have chosen you to show around our two new students. They won't be coming for another week but I want you to be prepared." Mrs. Harbor said very confidently.

"Okay. I can do that. I thought I was in trouble for a second there" you replied with worry in your voice.

"Don't worry. Knowing you, the worst thing you could do is froget to say thank you to your teacher at the end of class." Mrs. Harbor said laughingly "Oh and they are going to be your locker neighbors"

As you walk to 4th period Advanced math you wonder if they are boys or girls or both! You got so excited you squeled in class.

Finally at lunch your sitting at your table with your 4 best friends, Karen, Marissa, Alyssa, and Hope. You tell them and they don't seem as excited as you are.

"I'm sorry but I think if there boys you might fall for one of them and leave us to sit with him..." Marissa said sadly.

"No! That will never happen! If anything, Alyssa, the boy obsesser, will be the one to fall for one of them!"

You go the rest of your day thinking what Marissa said. Praying that they wern't boys so you don't have to worry about her comment.

"Don't worry dakota" said Karen "its Friday, you got all weekend to plan things"
