A couple of days have passed, and it's finally Christmas! I would be more excited if I wasn't so damn tired. I really can't remember the last time I slept. Really I don't remember much, my memory is losing rapidly now. I remember bits and pieces of lambda most of after Norman and I escaped (I don't know how we did), and most of everything after. But at this point, it's like everything  is missing pieces, no memory feels complete anymore. But this doesn't need to be what I think about, not now. It's only about six AM now, but I still sit up, rubbing my head. 'Mom is probably up now.' I think standing up and leaving the room. The floors are cold and chilled and I slowly start to regret getting up now. I walk past Norman's room, seeing the picture of us kissing under the mistletoe, his hand holding mine, his hand cupping my face...his lips pressed against mine. I stare at it a moment longer, knowing this'll all be forgotten soon, all that will be left to remind me is this picture, even still there's still a chance with the picture I won't remember him. "Y/n?" I hear a voice call, I snap my head away from the picture quickly. "Oh Ray." I say and smile. "You're up too?" "No I'm sleep walking." he grins, so do I. "I always wake up with mom especially on big occasions, she needs help and all." Ray says after a moment. "Ray how do you feel?" I say not realizing how unclear that sentence was. "What?" he sounded almost offended I asked him something so dumb. "I mean that we all call her mom, like really, she's just your mom." I say. Ray presses his lip together and sighs. "I don't really mind, I mean I grew up with you guys as siblings." he says with his hands holding the railing outlining the top floor with both of his hands for support and leaning back away from the railing. "But it's not like any of us actually are your siblings." "Yeah well I guess it bugs me a little but whatever." Ray says. "What's been bugging you?" Ray continues on. My eyes fix on him softly. "What do you mean?" I laugh lightly. "Well you seem happy and all, but I can tell something is off." he says. I walk  towards Ray then down stairs and he follows. "Where's Isabella?" I ask. "Avoiding the question?" Ray says annoyed. "No. I'll answer but where's Isabella?" "She had some errands to run." "I'm scared I'll forget you all soon." I say weakly and ashamed. I hear Ray pause in his walk behind them then continue. "What do you mean?" he asks in a concerned, confused, decently angry tone.  "The thing in my head makes me forget, as a short summary, and now recently, my memories have been disappearing so quickly. I'm scared I'll wake up one day, and not remember you guys." I say slowly, sitting on the couch, Ray sits down next to me. "Have you talked to Norman about this?" "Not since it god bad." I say. Ray began to say something and I cut him off. "But not to bring down the mood or anything! Do you need help with any setting up?" I ask, Ray shakes his head. We sat there for a moment. "When's the last time we really talked Y/n?" Ray asks. I think for a moment, have me and Ray ever really talked? I chuckle. "I wouldn't remember." I start laughing, it isn't really a funny situation, but for some reason I think it is now. Ray grins and chuckles. "That isn't funny Y/n." he says even though he is laughing himself. I laugh a little longer while Ray scoots next to me then,,, FLASH! He laughs I look up and the damn Polaroid camera  that had been sitting on the coffee table in front of the couch was in his hand. He let the picture slide out before saying anything. "Maybe you'll remember this, merry Christmas I guess." he makes a half sad smile. I smile back taking the (as of right now) black picture. "Maybe." I whisper sadly, staring at the very faint lines. "Oh hey you two." Mom walks in. Ray and I look up, she's holding a few bags. "oh hey." I smile standing up to take them for her.  I bring them to the kitchen while she talks to Ray. I see all the prepared food and some of the food already cooking. Mom and Ray walk into the kitchen."Are you helping us cook Y/n?" Mom asks. I smile and nod "Sure."  ~  It's around eleven:thirty AM and everyone is awake, the kids wanted to open presents right away, but Isabella said we all had to have breakfast first. Now it's time for the little kids to open the present. Since there's a good amount of us, Isabella decided to have presents opened youngest to oldest, so by the time it gets to me, Norman, Ray, Emma, and the others, the little kids will have gone off to play with all their new toys, and also all of the older kids presents are probably way more boring than the younger kids, so it'll be more entertaining for everyone. Also Isabella said she has a present for all of us at dinner. Norman and I  had changed into matching pajamas before breakfast. The young kids got mostly toys, it was a wholesome moment, Ray took a couple pictures or two on the Polaroid camera then gave them to me saying merry Christmas each time. When it got to Rossi I insisted he'd open my present last. I got a job two months ago at a restaurant and I knew Rossi had been asking for this  so I couldn't resist. My present for his was a big box behind the tree, I stood up after he opened his other presents and grabbed it, well more pushed it, it was rather  heavy.  Rossi looked up at me. "What is it?" he asked looking at the big box in shiny red wrapping paper. I smile and shrug. "Who knows." I grin. He smiles and starts tearing open the box. At first it takes him a moment to read what the tag says then he springs up and wraps his small arms around me. "Thank you Y/n." his voice quivers. "Of course Rossi." I hear him sniffle. "No way you got him a drum set?" Emma says loudly, reading the box. I nod slowly. "I know he's been talking about one for a while now." I rub Rossi head.  "How much did it cost?" Ray asks, shocked. I grin. "That's not important." But honestly I just don't remember. Another thing I don't remember is why I'm so attached to Rossi, he was obviously at the orphanage with me, but I don't know how we're so close, I mean he is very adorable. I tell Rossi I'd help him put together the drums later, he decided to stay down for me and the other older kids to open our things. The kids in between Rossi and me open their presents and now for the most part everyone is upstairs playing with their toys. The people left down here are Rossi, Emma, me, Ray, Norman, Barbara, and Zazie(even though he's one of the youngest), Cislo, Vincent, and  Isabella, all youngest to oldest. Emma opens her gift from Barbara, then I ponder over the gifts to find mine. "Y/n needs to open hers last." Norman says from behind me. "Oh?" I say turning around, crossing my arms. "I won't be able to if suspense kills me first." I laughed while walking over to Norman again. Ray gets some confusing super smart people stuff and some books from Norman. Norman is about to stand up but I grab his hand. "We'll open at the same time." I wink. He sighs rolling his eyes. "Okay, that's fair Daisy." He smiles, kissing my forehead. Barbara got a gift from Emma and I, Zazie got something from Barbara, and Cislo and Vincent got things for each other, now It's time for me and Norman. Norman says he has to go get mine from his room, I pick up mine to him, from the floor and sit back down. "What'd you get him?" Barbara asks in a teasing voice. "Probably a free kiss pass." Rossi teases. I roll my eyes. "Shut up you guys," I mumble, I see Norman walking down the stairs with a rather small box in his hand, about the size of a ring box. Norman come and sits next to me. We exchange gifts. I look at the small box and grin. Norman shook his gist and smiled. "So on three?" he asks I nod. "One!'" Emma says coming up behind me. "Twoooo..." Barbara continues doing the same. "Three!" They both say. Mine doesn't take long to open, and on the top of the black box, embedded with a gold color says, 'don't forget.' Norman starts picking at the tape I heavily put at the top of the gift. I open my, expecting to see a ring, but it's not. It's a small chip like thing in a very small zip lock baggy, a small size, I didn't even know existed. I feel my face twist and Barbara and Emma step back in confusion. "What is it?" I ask glancing up at Norman who already put on a daisy necklace, one part of my gift. His smile is glowing so bright, I can't help but smile back even with how confused I am. Rossi is looking over my shoulder, Cislo is confused and Vincent is standing with a poker face. Norman sets down his box that he hasn't finished opening. Norman takes my hand that isn't holding the box in both of his hands. His smile breaks, sadder now. "Daisy, my love." he whispers. "You won't have to forget  ever again." He smiles sadly. "What do you mean?" I ask, very very confused. "Daisy you'll never have to die and reawaken." he whispers, Norman's thumb rubbing over the scar over my forehead. My eyes widened. "No you don't mean..." I feel my eyes wet. "I can't promise you your old memories back, but me and Vincent, and even Ray, we have all been working on this since the very moment we all crossed over to the human world. Daisy you can live in peace." Norman says. I close the box and it slips out of my hand, Norman moves it to the floor pulling me into a hug. My hands cover my eyes, I'm sobbing, I want to say something but my brain has gone flat, I can't think of anything, even if I wanted to, my tears would wash out my words. "What did you do to her?" Barbara yells defensively. Norman rubs my back, then plays with my hair softly. "I love you Daisy, more than anything. You don't have to do this if you don't want to, and we can't guarantee it'll work." Norman whispers into my hair. My tears come even harder, and now everybody's words turn foggy and distorted. I reach my hands away from my eyes and hug Norman back. My head starts to throb worse than ever, and I know this'll be my last time. I won't forget again, I'll only die one more time after and it'll be my last, I'll live normally because... "Dr. Normal. I love you."
