"But we can seek Mr. Kim's help, being a known mafia and successful businessman, he might have crossed paths with the king!" Lisa suggested, glancing at Taehyung and Jisoo's father.
"No, daughter. He has not disclosed anything to other mafias, and in his presence, I am insignificant," Mr. Kim replied with a heavy sigh.
"So, marrying Y/N was the only option left!" Taehyung finally spoke, head bowed and voice audible, prompting sighs from everyone present.

His face displayed a mix of red and pale, fear evident in his eyes. After losing his mother, he couldn't bear the thought of losing Y/N, the light in his life and his second love.
Jisoo observed her brother with an unreadable expression.
"Why with Kookie?" Lisa questioned in almost a whisper. Y/N's dad smiled faintly and said, "Because I believe Y/N will find happiness with Jungkook. I initially considered Taehyung, as I envisioned them together. Even her mother wished for Taehyung, but they never got along well, and I wanted Y/N to be truly happy."
Taehyung felt shattered, believing he was incapable of bringing happiness to Y/N, a thought that seemed almost true.
