Billie's pov
I was kinda let down when she left but she does have to handle business. I put what she gave me in my pocket and I got in my car and I am now on my way home.
30 minutes past and I'm at home. As I open my bag of Taco Bell from earlier ,I dig in and then as I'm on my last burrito I remember about the napkin Kameron gave me. Uggh Kameron she's so gorgeous I think as I open the napkin oh my god she actually gave me her number fuck yessss I'm so happy! I pick up my phone and put her number in and texted her
Billie: hi it's Billie, I never really got a chance to tell you my name because you had a meeting or something lol.
Kameron: heyy lol I apologize for that Billie I had to work tho 🙂😕 it could be a handful.
Billie:don't apologize for something you have to do, I was a little caught off guard but it's okay. What are ya doing rn?
Kameron: I'm not really doing anything rn what about you?
2minutes later.....
Kameron's Pov
Oh my fucking gosh she's callin me be cool be cool
It was FaceTime
I answered it
I laid my phone down beside me so she wouldn't see my face. " let me see you" Billie says. I'm hesitant but I sit the camera up. She smiles at me and I smile back. I'm currently snuggled with my cover in my bed. Billie asks why am I going to sleep and I answered because I was very tired and I think it's important we all need 2/4 hours of sleep every night. Billie asked if it's okay if we fall asleep on the phone and I said no maybe soon, but we still need to get to know each other. Billie said she respects it and she hopes I have sweet dreams and with that she hangs up. But she calls right back and I'm slightly annoyed but I answer anyway she apologized for calling back but she just wanted to know one thing " how can I know you more ?" She asked and I took a deep breath and said "lunch on you tomorrow I go at 12-1, you can get to know me through food I could tell you that, goodnight Billie" I smile and I hear her whisper something like "yess" or "hell yeah" I'm not sure I'm half sleep so I just hang up and k.o and we'll see what tomorrow brings me.
The next morning
Billie's pov
I woke up and the first thing I did was think about what she wanted to eat I mean I could just ask her but I wanted to suprise her. I was really thinking about going to that place I saw her at, it was at jerk 32 (I know it's not the name of the real restaurant) she said she like "real food" lol I wonder what she meant by that 🤣 but I get up and do my morning routine and I head into work.
Time skip >>>35 minutes later
Kameron pov
I was late to work but only by 10 mins and we have a 20 minute grace period so I should be ok. I'm rushing through the halls and as soon as I turn the corner to go to my office, I bump into some one and phone and papers fall. "What the hell dude I'm la-" I notice the person helps me get my papers up, that hair. It's Billie. I suddenly feel bad for about to lash out at her. " I'm so sorry, I'll take you out later to get it replaced.after the food of course." Billie said. I nodded and went to work down the hall. I really couldn't stop thinking about her it was weird. I've never really been the open up before, I guess we'll see how lunch goes. For right now I have to focus on this design for the cover I'm doing.

Kameron pov
It's now 11am and I have one hour till lunch, ugh I'm soo hungryyy, I'm kinda feeling like jerk chicken Alfredo or maybe Burger King , we'll see when I see Billie. I'm almost done and now I'm bored but I still have 20 mins to spare before lunch so I talk to my co-worker his name Jason , he's a really good artist drawing wise. He's really quiet. Or at least I thought he was, "hey, what ya doing?" I asked him. " hey Watsup,nothing just acting like I'm working and I'm playing a game, I got done a hour ago" he chuckled. " I'll be back I gotta go to the bathroom, brb" I say. I head to the bathroom. And I just stay in the there for 15 mins, I mean I did need to pee but I was also stalling. All I could think about was Billie but it also could've been because she was the voice I heard last night. It's like she slowly itching at my brain and I barely know her. My alarm goes off letting me know it's my lunch break. I got to go get my stuff from my desk and got to the elevator. While I'm waiting for the elevator I see a text from Billie, I must've missed it being to much in my head. I check it.
Billie: meet me at the lobby, we taking my car.
K: alright I'm omw rn 🤗 and don't worry about the phone. It's fine 😂
Billie: is this excitement I detect from you?😊
K: duhhh, who isn't exited for food. 😏
By this time I'm in the lobby, I finally see her. She looks so good. She has on a couple of layers of shirts and some baggy shorts. It's really cute but kinda in a dorky way. " ok before we start anything I wanna say sorry for about to go off on you earlier, I was just late and stressed at the time." I say. She chuckles and say " it's cool, I wasn't trippin." And we start to walk to her car. "So, what'd you have in mind to eat?" Billie asked. I honestly knew what I wanted but I didn't know if we had the same taste in food. "Jerk 32, if that's cool with you?" I look at her and asked. She wasted no time, she just started the car and started to drive. It took us not even 5 minutes because we were in a car.A fast, nice one at that. Once she parked she told me not to move and I laughed and asked why. She just looked at me. So I didn't move. Billie got out the car and went on my side and opened my door for me. I smiled and said thankyou. I thought it was a little sweet. Considering we don't know each other like that still or at least that's what I keep telling myself. We make our way into the restaurant and of course she held the door open for me. I order what I want and she gets the Samething suprisingly. We sit down and wait for our numbers to be called. Mines came first but I told Billie I'll wait for hers to come then we can go and eat in the cafeteria. "Wait, you don't wanna eat here?" Billie asked. " I didn't think you'd want to.. we can if you feel comfortable." I responded. A couple minutes later Billie got her food and we left. She opened the door for me again to get in the car. In 5 minutes we made it back to the building. We decided to eat at a booth that was kind of secluded on the side of the building. We sat down and as I open my food eating she asks " so, what do you like to do outside of work?" I was kind of surprised by her question because she didn't really waste anytime... I mean we do have 40 minutes left for lunch. " I'm kinda simple but I love art obviously umm I love food and animals and I love to get to to parks and smoke, I socially drink. Oh god I'm rambling" i chuckle nervously. "What about you?" I ask. She laughs and says " the exact same thing,I smoke a lot tho." A couple minutes past and Billie asks me " wanna go to the park this weekend? I can pick you up and take you home" she has this relaxing smirk on her face, as if she knew I would say yes. I asked her " how is the food?" Billie looked at me and turned her plate around and it's almost empty and says " I don't know you tell me" and starts laughing .
Billie then says "we have 20 minutes left. We can go back to my car if you'd want. I want to show you something" we both get up and she takes my plate and throw it away and then we make our way to her car.
Billie pov
As we are walking to my car I was thinking that I hope I'm not scaring her. I'm tryna be a gentle woman but it seems like she's scared to open up, I mean I am too but I'm trying here. I guess I gotta stay patient. I open the door for her and I get into the drivers side and I play some music on low. We just vibe for a good ten minutes. "Wanna smoke after work? We only got a couple hours left anyway and plus it's an excuse to take you home." I smirk and look at her. Kameron just smiles and said " finally, I'm glad you asked." We get out my car and walk to the building. As we're going into the elevator, I look at her again fuck she's so hot 🥵. I ask "can I get a hug?" She hugged me and her body pressed against me. Her touch on my shoulders felt so natural and I slipped my hands on her waist. I don't wanna let go. I hugged her until the door started to open and then I said " text me kam" she smiled and said " will do." And we parted ways,I just know she'll be worth it. The way her hands went my shoulders and slid down my arms. Ughhh I roll my eyes at the thought of her scre- Billie stop it. I thought to myself. Can't till I get off in a hour and a half. I miss her already, we'll see what happens later... I just know she feels more comfortable with me than she did earlier. I guess that's a step closer to getting her. But what if we do get physical one day and she figures out my little secret?!🤐🤫. At least I won't have to worry about that for a while, for now we'll see what happens next...
