Laquesis
-LAQUESIS! YOU NO BRAINER! CAN YOU NOT GO FASTER!? - Lucas annoyingly yelled directly at my ear. My main will was to hit him with the submarine's steering wheel that I happened to be driving, but, seeing the situation at hand we were at, that wasn't the brightest of ideas. - I'M TOO HANDSOME TO DIE!!-I'M TRYING, BROKEN FINGERS! - I yelled back at him, holding myself back to not give the snarkiest of replies I could think of. Seriously, just looking at him made me want to throw up, and his arrogance was such that he thought he was "handsome". Not like I didn't tell him he wasn't before, but it just always falls to deaf ears.
It was obvious how terrified we were. After all, having a 59 feet wide monster on your tail isn't exactly something considered calming, quite the opposite, in fact. Unfortunately, Lucas thought that pressuring me would somehow help the situation. What an idiot.
A Megalodon - Yes, you've heard, or read, it right! A Megalodon - was overwhelmingly fast for a creature this big. It was plain unfair. Not only was it ginormous, it just had to also be fast. God really does have his favorites, and that killing-machine specimen was, most definitely, one of those.
At the pinnacle of this whole disaster inside the sub-aquatic box, I had already lost all hope of surfacing back alive, much less with a still-working mind. I really didn't want to die like this - especially with the imbecile that Lucas was cursing and shouting with all his lungs when he was by my damn side! - but how could I change the situation? I, the simple and poor woman that was almost reaching a point of committing homicide right there and then - after all, nobody would notice his absence, right?
-LAQUESIS I'VE SOMETHING I WANT TO TELL YOU BEFORE I DIE - Lucas shouted, getting me away from the million thoughts going through my head on how to kill someone with only cereal bars and canned food - I... REALL-
Well, my dear reader, that doesn't look like a good beginning for story, now does it? I'll give you a little resume of everything and then I'll tell you everything from the very beginning.
I, Laquesis Taylor - don't laugh. That is my real name. I know, I know, it doesn't sound harmonious at all, and, no, none of the lil' jokes you thought of are funny. None. -, am a BSSA agent.
About 3 months ago, I was summoned - cough, cough, kidnapped - to work on this secret agency. It was pretty scary, to say the least. It definitely isn't fun to be chillin' at your home and black out out of nowhere.
And it was on the agency that I met the stupid Lucas. Satan must've sent him specifically for my person. So kind and loveable with others, so annoyingly arrogant with me. And to make things worse, that bastard had to work here too!
So what if I accidentally dropped his materials on the sink - it really was an accident, though - on the first year of elementary school? That was no reason to despise me!
He was so stingy, arrogant and annoying! How can someone be this idiotic? He should get an award for this achievement - if we can even call it that.
But, I also met Little Maria, the shortest and most incredible woman I've met to date. Never would I have thought that a 21 year-old could be so wise and charismatic. There's just one problem... she, somehow managed to fall in love hard with Lucas! I can't help but ponder how. Could it be she has some mental illness? After all, she might be an amazing person, but not everybody's 100% sane.
Now, with everything out of the way, I can tell everything from the very start. Ugh, I- I wonder how I got here.
