I wake up with a jolt, and check the time. Oh fudge-caking Leopold, I'm late. Although, considering everyone is used to me being late, does that mean that if I'm only slightly late, I'm early? Whatever, It's too early in the morning for this.
I rush down the stairs, grabbing an envelope on the table, stuffing a piece of cinnamon vanilla bread in my mouth and rush out the door. Oh my god, Libra is going to KILL me. I quickly reach our Spot, 'Spot' being a small abandoned greenhouse that we both renovated and decorated ourselves. Everyone in our community knows that it's ours.
Libra is already there, arms crossed and glaring at me. Fudge. I shrug my shoulders, and meekly say,"I slept in...?" Lib rolls her eyes. "I'll let you pass today Pi, because today is an important day, The day that will decide our future!" I cheer and we both sit down near some flowering plants.
For once, she's not exaggerating. Today is an important day. A few weeks ago, me and Lib wrote a test for the most prestigious university for our Freshman year at collage. I applied for Phycology(major) and Magik- I really want to get a job as a foreign Studier (someone who visits other kingdoms or their own, studying about people, helping them out and giving advice to the dukes or kings).Meanwhile, Lib applied for Law and Justice and Magik. But the main reason we joined Astral Uni (AU) is for its extensive training program in Powers and Magik- something I want to do to help others. Today we find out whether we got into AU or not. I pray to my gods, hoping that we did get in, and imagine both of us in AU uniform, in the middle of a large crowd, learning to use our powers for different things and-
"PI", Lib's voice drags me out,"Ready to open them?" I nod my head, and we rip open the covers together. I don't look at mine yet. I'm scared. What if I didn't get in? I look at Lib instead. Her eyes widen, and a smile breaks out on her face. She looks at me in disbelief,"I.....I...I GOT IN!" I hug her hard. Then I look at mine. I look up at her. "I GOT IN, AHHHHHHHHHH! OH MY GOD LIB, I ACTUALLY GOT IN!" We party for a few more hours, dreaming of what we could become, before leaving. Just a week. In a week, I'll be in the most prestigious university ever. Oof.
