I sigh, and throw my head back.
A week has passed already, and so has all my patience.
I turn to my left, and see Libra and Leo struggling through the problems.
Lib notices me looking at her, "done Pi?"
"Almost," I reply, one question left.
I quickly scribble down some random answer. I cannot write one more word, or else I might actually breakdown.
"Hey Guys," I call, putting on a sweater in an attempt to look decent, "I'm heading out, call me if you need something."
I don't listen to their response, and make my way down my dorm and to the Cheesecake place (I have decided to call it that now, thanks to my bad memory).
I'm halfway there, when I feel my phone vibrating. I take it out, checking a message I got from Lib.

hey pi, the 1st yrs r hving this party thing. we r invited. U can't say no.
I sigh. I really don't want to go to a party. I'd rather stay at home and read one of my favorite romance novels. I get a ping from Leo too- we've grown pretty close within the last week.
Le-aurr
U can't say no.
come back fast.
and bring some cookies for me pls
I quickly type in a response, and don't refuse- if I did, it would probably involve a lot of threatening.
ya, ok fine.
to the cookies and the party
I close my phone and put it on mute before they can spam me with messages on makeup and how happy they are.
A cold breeze hits me in the face, and it's relaxing, I let all of my worries fade away. It feels nice, especially after the whirlwind I've been through this week. Psychology and Social studies have been fun, if you exclude all the homework. Next week is only going to get more hectic, as magick classes start, along with practicals, tests and field work. So I take this small moment to relax, to unwind.
Before a leaf smacks me in the face and a heavy downpour begins.
I run to the cheesecake place, drenched and soaked, my hair all soggy and water seeping through my back. I hang my sweater on the coat rack, hoping that it'll dry by the time the rain stops.
I stand in line, if it can be called a 'line'. There are only two other people apart form me : Ms.Lia (the one who runs the Cheesecake place), and a boy.
The boy has a few inches over me, and he has white hair. The pure white that would make you stop and stare. Then gasp and stare again. He has horns sticking out of his head-subtle though. Oh, so he must be of noble descent. I'm quietly observing him, when he looks at me. His eyes are amber, with flecks of green.
He takes my breath away.
He raises an eyebrow, and I bow my head. Oh no. I must've seemed like a creep. Ohh noooo. Arghhh, why did I do that.
And then he speaks. His voice is honey, and it takes me a second to realize that he's addressing me. Oh fudgecaking Leopold.
"Sorry. You can go ahead and pick something."
After I'm throughly done simping over him, I finally see that he has trouble choosing something. And, because I consider it my duty to add members to the cheesecake fandom, I gathered all my courage (because speaking to guys is not easy) and say, "um...excuse me?"
He tilts his head, "yes...?"
"Um, if you're indecisive, why not choose the cheesecake?" He stares at me intensely, and I shut my mouth, not being able to speak another word.
He's looking at me funny. I shouldn't have spoken. Does he think I'm weird now?
Instead he smiles at me. "Oh yeah. I should've done that. Let me give you a suggestion too. Try the cinnamon bun, It's REALLY good. Try it."
I oblige and order quickly, partially because I don't want to stay here anymore.
While my order is being packed up my Ms.Lia (WHO GIVES ME A WINK- not at all helping my situation), I hear the white haired guy getting a call.
He answers it, and I hear two phrases that send me off into a frenzy.
He says 'Sagymarius party' and 'cheesecake girl'.
And at that point I rush off with my sweater, and thankfully, the rain stops too.
