Jisoo and I found ourselves lost in the whirlwind of our comeback, our hectic schedules leaving little room for moments together. But amidst the chaos, we managed to sneak away for a stolen, yet precious date.
One evening, tired but determined, we decided to go on a simple 7/11 run, wandering through the quiet night hand in hand, with no cares in the world.
Jisoo, her arms wrapped around my shoulders, pulled me close as we made our way to the convenience store. Choosing our favorite snacks, we took a detour to the nearest park. Sitting on a bench, indulging in our treats, we engaged in sweet, easy conversation, cherishing the simplicity of being together. It was that unspoken connection between us, where words weren't necessary – just being in each other's company was enough.
Jisoo let out a sigh, her face resting in her hands, and concern wrinkled my forehead. "Everything okay, Jisoo?" I inquired, reaching for her hands. She took mine, softly caressing them, her tired eyes meeting mine. There was a hint of weariness in her gaze, and I couldn't help but frown.
"Everything's okay, just tired from work, you know?" she sighed, putting on a smile for me. I returned the smile, assuring her that I understood – exhaustion was a common thread between us.
"Sometimes I just want to escape from it all, the idol life, you know?" she confessed, gazing up at the night sky. I nodded, understanding the sentiment. "Would you run away with me?" she asked, locking eyes with me.
"In a heartbeat," I declared, my eyes reflecting a sense of unwavering commitment. "But we're both too in love with our job," I added, keeping it real.
Jisoo chuckled. "You're so right. I love being an artist," she sighed, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. "But hey, we're young; let's do something crazy," she suggested with a playful glint in her eyes.
"I already do you, and you're crazy," I shrugged, grinning. Laughter bubbled between us, creating a moment of pure, carefree joy. Jisoo got up, sat beside me, and pulled me close.
"But seriously, would you really run away with me, leaving our idol life behind?" she asked, her eyes holding mine.
"I'd follow you anywhere, Jisoo. I love you too much, and being with you beats being an idol any day," I confessed, my words wrapped in sincerity.
Tears shimmered in Jisoo's eyes, love surrounding us. In that moment, she realized I was the one.
"I'd pick you too, over being an idol," Jisoo confessed, surprising me.
"But being an idol is your dream," I pointed out.
Jisoo smiled down at me, holding me close. "I have a new dream now, and you're in it," she said lovingly before sealing her words with a sweet kiss.
My heart fluttered at her confession, deepening my love for Jisoo.
Breaking the kiss, Jisoo made a promise. "One day, I'll put a ring on your finger, and we'll spend our lives together. But for now, let's be young, naive, and in love, embracing the craziness of the moment," she declared.
"I'd love that," I replied with a soft smile.
"It's us against the world, Y/n," Jisoo declared.
"Us against the world," I promised, feeling the sweetness of our love enveloping us like a melody.
