Sameer pov

I woke up with a headache as last night I slipped into sleep while crying. Mummy ne Rohan ko phone Kiya hi hoga puchne ke liye ki kisane Khanna khaya ya nhi shayad unhone yeh pata bhi na ho ki Sameer kal bhukke pet hi so gya tha.

(Yesterday night mummy had definitely called Rohan to ask whether he had his dinner or not but she is still unknown to the fact that I slept on an empty stomach last night)

he chuckled mentally in scarcasm.

I was running late so I decided to pick a piece of break jam and run towards school.
I was running through the corridors of building towards my class. While running I bumped with someone and due to this sudden collision the bread fell down from my hand I looked at bread, while unconsciously my hand pressed my aching head and after a brief minute I looked towards the person I bumped , she was looking towards the fallen bread but her another act shocked me she passed some food wrapped in a newspaper towards me. When I showed no moment she said "I'm sorry meri wajah se apka khana gir gya. Please yeh le lijiye warna bhukhe pet sir dard badh jaega."
( I'm sorry, your breakfast fell down due to me. Please have this otherwise your headache will increase due to empty stomach)
Unknowingly I just held that roll and stand still while loosing the time track.
She collected the fallen bread, torn into pieces and fed sparrows at the silent corner at the end of the corridor. I looked towards my hand holding a newspaper roll containing pranthas mostly probably. Willingly my foot turn towards a bench in playground to have that food I don't know why but this taste as delicious as the food dadaji fed me with his own hand when I visit ahemdabad maybe this contain essense of kindness I came to a conclusion.

Naina pov

In the morning chacha ji helped me to complete all the formalities due to these procedures I got late for my classes so I just wrapped my food in the newspaper and ran towards the principal office for the last formalities as chacha ji had already left towards the railway station. When I was walking through the corridors I observed the huge difference between dehradun and ahemdabad, in our ahemdabad if a girl and a boy are spotted together that will be treated as a crime but here boys and girls are talking and sitting together freely as if this is normal and yes this is normal for them but for me it is new culture and it will take time to get used to see it. And not just this I even noticed mostly girls had tied their hairs in a pony tail I came to conclusion even their way of presenting themselves is different along with their social culture. While observing my new atmosphere I was looking for my class but suddenly a boy bumped with me and his food dropped due to this. I looked at the fallen food then observed he was pressing his head and his facial expressions clearly mentioned he had a very bad headache so I offered him my breakfast because somewhere I was the reason for this mishap. But he was staring at me with some unknown emotions maybe he didn't get what I was trying to do so I said
"I'm sorry meri wajah se apka khana gir gya. Please yeh le lijiye warna bhukhe pet sir dard badh jaega."
( I'm sorry, your breakfast fell down due to me. Please have this otherwise your headache will increase due to an empty stomach)
After that he took that I just picked the fallen bread and tored them and fed them to sparrows at the end of the corridor because I believe we should never waste food , food is the basic need of every living being whether a human or animal. I hope he will be fine and then I looked towards my wrist watch and again started looking for my class.
