It has been 3 days since Izuku Midoriya was diagnosed as quirkless, and he hasn't been having the best childhood. His best friend became his bully, and he never made any new friends. His mother Inko started to wonder if Izuku would ever smile again.

Inko: Honey, how are you today?

Izuku was silent for a moment as he just stared at his computer with tears in his eyes. Inko knew that her son was heartbroken and she also learned about the bullying. She needed a way to make her son happy again. She tried looking at the news for anything that would help until a news report came up about an animal circus that was about to be closed down. Inko remembered that Izuku loved watching the circus as a kid with all the performers acting as if they had quirks. That might be the answer She was looking for. Inko got Izuku into the car and they drove off to the circus. Izuku was still depressed about what happened, but he still wanted to try and make his mother happy. When they arrive they see all the animals being put into the cages of the circus train.

Inko: Come on sweetie, don't you want to see the animals?

Izuku: Okay.

Izuku climbed out of the car and took his mother's hand. They walked past all sorts of animals, sea lions, elephants, bears, a lion, two tigers, some ponies, and a few dogs. Izuku was still upset when suddenly he saw something that made his eyes widen. Inside one of the cages was a baby albino monkey wearing a yellow bandana with a small bunny-like tail.

Izuku began to smile as the monkey looked at him curiously.

Izuku: Mama, he's so cute.

Inko: I know sweetie.

Animal caretaker: If you want him, he's all yours.

Inko: Are you sure?

Animal caretaker: Sure, the circus is shutting down and we want to help give the animals new homes.

Izuku: Can we take him, mama, please?

Animal caretaker: Don't worry ma'am he's perfectly safe, and he won't hurt anyone.

Inko: Well, okay.

Izuku: Yay.

The Animal caretaker opens the cage, takes the monkey out, and gives him to Izuku.

Inko: What's his name?

Animal caretaker: We never got the chance to name him since we only got him a few weeks ago, so you can name him.

Izuku: What about Kuuta?

Inko: That sounds like a nice name honey.

Kuuta hugs Izuku and falls asleep in his arms.

Animal caretaker: I think he likes you, little boy.

Inko: Thank you, sir.

Animal caretaker: No problem at all, take care now.
